Roman languages are pretty similar for the most part Oh, you're from Ecuador? Oh, I see. Hmm, that might have been the toscana then. The landscape there is quite a nice one, and in general it is easy to live peacefully in that region How did you like the food in Italy btw? Yep,they're pretty similarWell I was born in America;my parents came here from Ecuador,but we go there often enough and talk about I often enough that I have great pride in it Yeah,Toscana,that was the name!My dad mentioned it a few times;also that hotel had the most adorable and friendly kittens you would ever meet My family was mostly dissapointed I was expecting the best pizza ever But then again,I DO live in the pizza capital of America The pastas were pretty good though And I remember going to this one tiny restaurant so small it didn't have chairs and they sold what looked like square pizzas but tasted different and were amazing The tiniest restaurant had the best food Also I know European portions are supposed to be smaller but dude I wanted to stuff my face with foreign food Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The pizza was invented there, and I swear, the pizza there (in the right places ofc) is so fantastic that you get the urge to buy a dozen, regardless of how much you can eat The best places for Pasta are Bologna, Naples and South Tyrol (South Tyrol is overall the best imo. I mean, it unites the best from Austria and the best from Italy) Oh, you're talking about 'pizza al taglio'. Pretty good, but I prefer a pizza with mozzarella bufala on it Also, lol, I've been to murica a few months ago, and have the same opinion about the food. The fast food was mostly really good, but I seemingly didn't find the right places for burgers. I didn't like that they put bacon in them :/ I once ate pasta there, but eh. I suppose it depends both on the places onr visits, and the contrast to the home country's specialties. Too smal portions?
