So kinda makes sense that it reminds you of Dota 2, which is the sequel/remake/update made by Valve. Templar Assassin is not the best character to pick for a newcomer, since it requires a lot of awareness and knowledge of different mechanics. Some heroes are less complicated (but still fun to play). I guess I didn't explain that well enough, but the ranking score only applies to something called Ranked Matchmaking. Otherwise, the game just keeps track of you number of game and win/losses and put you in games with people who have similar statistics, hoping that you will be around the same level. I never played DOTA myself, but I heard it is better than LoL I used to play LoL myself, but when I got to lvl 26, my game crashed and it isn't working ever since...
