Hope you pull through Sock.

Actually, that spurs a question

Damian, have you seen the stars where you live? I've heard NY is so bright during the night you can't even see the stars in the night

I'd be more concerned with the pollution.

Speaking from experience, I can tell you the pollution in China's major cities (that I have visited) dwarfs that of the pollution in US's major cities (that I have visited).

...not that that's necessarily relevant, but, I felt like adding to the conversation.

Fun fact related to this: reportedly, during a major power outage in Los Angeles in the 1990s, there were a bunch of calls to 911 by residents reporting strange clouds hovering overhead. They were actually seeing the Milky way due to the disappearance of light pollution.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned that I've never ever seen a star.

For that very same reason.

I mean, air pollution would probably be a bigger factor at blocking stars than light pollution!

You think? I remember hearing that once NY had a huge power cut, and for many of the population it was their first time seeing stars. Air pollution sounds like it would block the stars, though

Yeah, this is what I was referring to

You need to get out. Go camping in the country side. You won't regret it.

Sometimes we get days off in Tehran because of pollution.

Is my pollution e-peen bigger now?

I thought light pollution would be worse.

Air pollution is more persistent, at least.

HUH

Maybe our pollution really is worse!

Oh. Must've missed or forgotten about it. Oops. You're missing out, man

yeahhhhh

when I was little I would think planes were shooting stars at night, lmao.

You need to get out. Go camping in the country side. You won't regret it.

if the opportunity arises I wouldn't have a problem with it

my family just doesn't do that sort of thing

(as in, my entire family, not just my immediate family, I feel I should mention)

I've seen stars in the sky over here though. WEIRD.

maybe your area isn't SUPER BRIGHT

I do live on Jamaica Avenue where all the stores are
