I initially disliked Echoes because I dislike to use limited resources in games. The fact that the beams aside of the power beam had ammo really discouraged me of using them in my first few runs. But in my last playthrough, I played like I had unlimited ammo and I never ran out of ammo. This made the game a lot less tedious.
