Imo it's the second-worst Zelda game to date (only beaten by PH), but I can see how it's impressive-looking, how the boss fights feel awesome, and how it's dark and gritty and all that. The gameplay suffers, though. As far as I'm concerned, if you want a dark and gritty Zelda game, go play Majora's Mask. A lot of people like the game and the mechanics it uses, hell Skyward Sword uses some of them and its a fantastic game. Though MM is a better game for Dark atmospheric setting.
