Stat Caps Above 31.

Looked around a bit for the solution to this, got nothin on the forum.

In the ultimate tutorial it says something along the lines of "Check the Doc," I don't remember for which program, but that didn't help.

I was just wondering if there was any way to make stats above 31 not loop over when restarting. A few people asked but the topics were unresolved. Thanks.

one of feditor's autopatches does this

pr much makes the hard cap 31+initial base stat (of the unit, not of the class)

EDIT

solution two is to rewrite the way the saves are done so that they use more than 5 bits to store a stat

Which is basically what FEditor does, if you think about it

(the "rewrite the way the saves are done" part, not the "more than 5 bits" part)

the doc for FEditor is included with FEditor which, incidentally, is included within the doc referenced in my signature

Talking about this, the auto-patch that fixes this stats cap. "Application occurs after successfully loading a ROM."

Well actually I used FEditor since long to edit things in my roms. But after testing the Resume problem is still here.

The originally 33/35 stat i gave for the test still resets.

I don't really mind because I don't plan on making 31+ stats but I was wondering if it was normal?
