Great Witch
This is definitely one of my favorite playthroughs I've read on here and made me realize I used a lot of lower tier units on my first playthrough of FE6 without realizing it. Great work!
LB44
Loving this playthrough. All I'm wondering now is how you're gonna manage the desert chapter, and if you're gonna get all the loot
ZemZem
BORS SO GOOD And it's good that Dorothy and Wolt can actually contribute now. Hopefully they both get more STR and SPD. Have fun in Arcadia!
metalsnowman3
This makes me want to play FE6 again, good job! Roy's our Boy!
Wander
His last level, and even though it’s a good one, it’s too little too late. Seriously, has anyone ever had a Roy this awful before? I'm playing through this game for the first time, and holy hell your Roy is luck-blessed compared to mine! Anyways, I'm really enjoying this playthrough, it's pretty entertaining. Good luck with chapter 14, though, I have no idea how you're gonna pull that one off.
PKL
Not gonna lie, this playthrough is amusing :P. I was surprised you didn't use Lilina, I always thought she was terrible.
bottlegnomes
I am almost willing to put money on this being the worst Roy anyone on the site has had. Looks like things are starting to go more smoothly now that your characters are getting some levels.
lazydoggamer
His last level, and even though it’s a good one, it’s too little too late. Seriously, has anyone ever had a Roy this awful before? Ouch. At least enemies will have a hard time critting him
virtu333
Good lord, even with promotion and Sword of Seals, Roy is going to be pretty worthless. By far the saddest Roy I've seen. 3 procs in 19 levels? I've had Soren in FE9 get higher strength and he has a 5% growth rate
eclipse
Let's see how bad that Roy is. . . -4 Strength -2 Speed -2 Defense -1 Resistance . . .yeah, that's gonna hurt, even if he's right on the nose with HP, and has +4 Skill and +3 Luck. I wish you luck, dodging, and Wolt A Support (you'll need it).
FrostyFireMage
I like how Cath will probably have better strength than Roy.
Silith
Wait 18 turns and still Armads? I thought you had to beat it in 15 turns..... I rushed that chapter like crazy on my PT during my vacation on my laptop.... Edited August 2, 2014 by Silith
Baldrick
Barth is a cut above the other two fatties imo, but he still suffers from being an armour in FE6-itis and so rarely gets to show it outside of playthroughs like this. (Now watch Bors upstage him due to soaking up so much of the early EXP)
Oshimos
Here’s chapter 12x! Sorry if it’s kinda short and boring, there’s not a lot of ways to make the early gaiden chapters interesting. [spoiler=Chapter 12x] Gotta catch ‘em all Did you know the “Press Start” at the top of the screen is a clickable button? Because I definitely didn’t before now. It’s a shame the weapons don’t actually ever display the elemental properties that they’re purported to have This guy knows how to pull off the crazy axeman haircut. I’ll be really sad when this guy stops showing up. This might even be his last appearance; I can’t remember any more bandit chapters after this one This guy’s as much of a bard as Lewyn was. He should join up as a fighter and be the strongest unit in my army. And, we’re off! I ended up taking Wade over Geese after all, since I needed to actually hurt things in order to stop the thieves. Dorothy’s a boss now that she’s not a failure This guy had to go down so Cath could start looting Thief #1: Neutralized I don’t know if it’s because he’s so shitty or if it’s because of some kind of lord priority, but brigands just can’t resist Roy Cath does the thief thing My army is so magic weak it’s almost embarrassing Meh Even more meh Thief #2: Neutralized This is the shittiest loot ever Can’t complain about Elixirs, I guess Taking out Myrms on both sides of the map Cath chip Eclolpse Why would you put a torch in a treasure chest? This isn’t Minecraft. I’m pretty sure every enemy in this chapter can one-round her, but I’m just trusting her dodging skills because it’s FE6 Oh jeez that could have been bad That’s B. B for Brave Axe. I was not letting this guy stick around Wendy’s in this chapter too Whoops I chucked an antitoxin to neutralize the last thief. Does anyone actually use those things? Hooray :\ She three-rounds brigands. :S The Dorothy level, featuring a special guest appearance by Luck Why would anyone ever do this. That’s just… no. Roy is pretty much just a second thief at this point. Supports. Barth continues to be pretty boring. I give up If these things spew poison gas, shouldn’t the whole cave be un-breathable? It’s not like they’ve got much ventilation. The best part of this LP is finding frames of attack animations that I didn’t know existed. Wendyyyyyyy He’s very eloquent Bammo The guaranteed hit is honestly almost more useful than the guaranteed crit Finally, real treasure Gimme the axe Yusss Gasp! Another shocking plot twist! This will be seeing a lot more use than Durandal
Irysa
Train cath to use Durandal I actually cracked up reading some of the captions this chapter, especially chest item related ones, haha. Edited August 2, 2014 by Irysa

Oshimos
Here’s Chapter 13. This chapter could have been a quick and easy cakewalk. Instead I decided that I needed to get the Knight’s Crest now because Barth didn’t want to wait until Chapter 16 to promote, so it was a hellish fight full of failing to rig uncomfortably low chance strings of dodges for literal hours. So, since you don’t have to experience any of that part, here it is! [spoiler=Chapter 13] Oh look, now there’re two anima-using girls for Roy to save. Better luck next time, Lilina. How were they driven back all the way through the Nabata Desert? That doesn’t make any geological sense. The crew. Merlinus and Cath are mostly just filling space, but they do have their own uses in this chapter. This isn’t referring to Cecilia, it’s referring to Percival’s awful green friends. “Well, she’s got Aircalibur and you’re holding the Delphi Shield, so...” Final boss cameo Here’s the crew. The promoted units minus Wolt head north with Lalum and Clarine to recruit Percival while the Dawn Brigade wannabes head along the south bridge and hope they can kill some things. What was the point in making it look like she’d survive with 1 HP if you were just going to script a crit? It’s not like she actually dies. I didn’t cap anything around it, but Bors got a crappy level up by the north village. Percival’s taunting me from the other side of the map The mages are the most threatening enemies on the bottom half of the map, thankfully I’m rigging pretty much everything the top group does to make it to Percival in time, because the only thing worse than my units is me. I don’t think there’s anything that’ll require cheese on this level after this chapter, though. Y’know, if you think about it, this whole game is Nino’s fault. If she’d have just killed him during Night of Farewells, we’d have friendly queen Guinevere and could play Hugging Emblem instead. Also, Guinevere escapes like, 30 seconds later She was in the way I got really excited at first because I thought it was going to be an Energy Ring There’s a reason Wolt is down with the rejects instead of helping with the actual mission They’ve made it about as far across their bridge as the top crew has theirs Seeing as you’ve come to literally the opposite side of the continent to get here, why not take Arcadia yourself? Like, you had to pass by it to get here. The most important character in this run makes her entrance The south crew is kinda just Barth+ You know they’re bad because Roy’s doing respectable damage Once you walk too far, this cutscene triggers in the middle of your turn. Another defenceless girl has been shown the wrath of the Lycian Army Goodnight, sweet prince 9 damage with a Killer Axe. This is not how axemen are supposed to work. Operation Percival has commenced Today’s episode was brought to you by Killer Weapons. I missed the level because I was going too quickly. I’m 90% sure it was HP Luk. I have no idea why a general in the army would recognize the prince’s handwriting, but I’ll take it. This was the formation that I finally got to work. I needed one of the green cavs to dodge a 77 (~90 true) hit horseslayer, which he did around once every 25 times, plus Lalum needed to dodge two ~50 javelins. I’d wasted around an hour and a half prior to this trying to rig dodges with more enemies left alive and it just wasn’t working. Long story short they made it and everyone’s happy yay :) :) :) Wade made it to the boss before Roy’s unit could even make it to the south village This is the best Armory Bors hits 20 just in time Cha-ching! Cleaning up the map before the reinforcements fall all over me These two pick up some last minute levels. Wade especially appreciates the speed. Time to GTFO Sophia MVP Maybe you were too slow to act because of your BASE 4 SPD Remember this guy from before? He was red back then. They canonically changed armour mid battle. Eff yes. Barth had better be thankful. (I’m pretty sure I missed a Geese level somewhere in here, but between redoing the section where he levelled 6 times and Imgur uploading all of my odd-numbered pictures before any of the even-numbered ones, it kinda got lost. Sorry. :S) Also, I’ll be closing the poll once I get to actually playing the next chapter, so this is your last chance to vote. Oshimos
Alrighty; here’s the chapter everyone’s been waiting for: Arcadia! The chapter that everyone dreads for the whole first half of their playthrough, does it, and then thinks: “That wasn’t actually so bad.” [spoiler=Chapter 14] The star of this chapter is Sophia’s awkward floating head There’s also the fact that they’re walking across a desert with an army composed of something like 50% children while the enemy is famous for their numerous flying squadrons. Realistically, they shouldn’t have a chance of making it there in time. The crew this time. Clarine’s sitting this one out, since I really don’t need any more defenceless low mobility units than I already have. AKA ‘That One Chapter” Fa and Igrene talk about the most important character. Also the plot or something Also Zeiss is in this scene for some reason? My least favourite part of this map is that the sand is on the top layer. There is no reason it should be on top of the text boxes. I FINALLY HAVE A UNIT THAT HITS RES Y… yay? First order of business. I am very grateful to y’all for voting this dude as the boots guy. Second order of business. Yes, I did use Lalum to let her Cnt two stat boosters in one turn. She’s up from 2 AS to 6 AS, which is… still terrible, but not doubled by chapter 5 soldiers terrible. Shoes My entire army needs like, 4 of these each. And… time to start fighting things Now maybe she won’t die if something blinks at her Surprise I maybe had to rig this dodge so that she would dodge one of this guy’s attacks. He exactly one rounds her after the robe. Also this guy was all over her Fortunately, I had a restore Bam. Baby’s first kill. Wade’s clearing the bottom out. Also, I’m totally using the reset trick. Wyvern Lords are hella tanky Fortunately, Snipers have 3 Move in desert. Also, Wolt really needed that Strength. This priest just kinda ran up to me. Not the best idea. This guy missed all three times. I was not complaining, though I probably would have cheated and given his Restore to Cecilia. I’m moving so slowly that it almost feels like FE4. Barth the boss Remember when Dorothy was the worse Archer? Yeah, neither do I. Cath knifes a holy man in the throat. Noble thief indeed. Oh jeez I thought these guys spawned at the top of the map. I had Barth with an Axereaver specifically for them. Wade wasn’t going to wait around to get critted Cath takes out her frustrations on that priest some more and gets a thief level. Also, I totally thought that was further south Haha, good one map designer guys. Nobody hits my girls Reminder that my Roy is really bad v_v I am protecting Sophia with Saul because he’s a better Tank. Sophia gets fed as many kills as possible. Welp Yusssss And that makes two. C Bows was the best thing to ever happen to Wade. Cath chip I just sat there mashing the screenshot button on my controller That is the most beautiful Sophia level. So it turns out sending your competent units elsewhere and having a Sniper as your only frontliner isn’t actually ideal. Wow, what a useful weapon. In case you were wondering about Barth, he’s fighting off an orgy of Brigands up by the Silver Card bones. He also loves that Speed proc. Sophia is my only anti-mage, so I quite like this. Progress shot. I’ll make it out of the desert one day. Damnit Armads, you had one job. Now I’ve gotta blow a second use. Every Brigand on the east side of the map is going after Cath. :\ Have I ever mentioned Sophia’s my favourite character in FE6? (I’m being serious) More Cath dodgetanking Sophia… :( Supports! Dorothy x Saul continues to be great. Maybe I should just promote him now and let his promotion bonuses give him some worth until I bench him. He’s Wendy-tier minus Triangle Attack utility. Wade, on the other hand, is a boss. Hello Speed and Defence are both nice, but she’s still really bad. Last item. High strength attacks with a crit chance, or 20 fixed damage if both hits hit? Hmm, hard choice. This Cath is possibly better than Roy. If she had a Sword rank I’d give it to her. This Barth is beautiful. The only substantial thing Bors has on him as a level 8 General is his C Axes. Aww yeah. You know what this means Dammit. …<_< Very much rigged/10 *Maniacal laughter* She very much needs both of those Made it in time. Now to seize before Barth dies of poison. Also... I don't actually know how to close the poll/if you can even close polls on SF, so I'm just kinda gonna leave it there unless a reason for another poll pops up.
