No, I'm almost entirely certain that they were posted in the save Zephiel level. Pretty sure they did. Mine shenanigans on this chapter do yield interesting results :D It COULD be due to mine shenanigans, though as far as I can tell, this isn't the first time such a bug has been reported. Oh well. Guess we'll have to see what happens in Teq's LP. Hello everyone, and welcome back to... FE7 CHAOS MODE: EPISODE 29: Chapter 32: Part 3: Glitchstella This lady takes the throne to heal a dude. This is not a good thing, since now we can't just warp Hector straight there! You know, if Limstella HAD died, Fatman would have taken her place and likely murdered Hector. Just a thought. The ballisticians all (ineffectively) attempt a last-minute-murder. My phase again,and yeah, it seems she still is alive and functioning, but her HP bar seems even more off than normal. Levels. The top group is gonna make it to the throne! They can help us get past Glitchstella! Hector can't take another round against Glitchstella. Retreat! I don't need this, but hey, whatever. We've just about forced the enemy to the gate, but the generics aren't the problem anymore! This guy dies. FROM POISON DAMAGE! HAH! NATURALLY Problem solved! Yeah, taking care of her isn't gonna be that easy. Hey, it worked for the OTHER Glitch! (Note: It doesn't work here, Glitchstella is still Glitchstella) Good level! Oh yes, a Matriarch crit! It's the most amazing thing ever, she sticks her staff in the ground, makes a circle of light thingies come out which give light to the middle circle thingy, releases an energy wave, and then casts! It's times like this when I really wish I knew how to make GIFs. Magic cap! This is like a perfect level. Let's engage Glitchstell-uhhhh... Whoa, what kind of sprite is that? It's probably a witch sprite we haven't seen before, but still... (Also, the timing at which the "0" appeared is entirely coincidental). The game hangs after that, with Glitchstella's HP going in an infinite cycle of garbage data. I try resetting again, but it fixes NOTHING. Okay, with animations off this time! I, uh, thought the internal HP cap was 127? This just keeps getting worse! Rath hits her once, and every last point of HP drains away. And then she revives again but EVEN WORSE Okay, it's clear no matter how many times we kill her, it isn't going to do anything. We HAVE to find a way to get PAST her and to the throne! We're getting the ballisticians cleared, at least. So few enemies...but, Glitchstella... Bleh. Whatever. Okay! Let's do this! I make sure to nab this first. Levels. They're definitely levels. Time for... THE EPIC BATTLE OF FATMAN VERSUS ELIWOOD "And Fatman has opened with his standard attack, because he's literally incapable of opening with anything else! "Eliwood counters with a crit, but...what's this? Fatman survived? "OH CRAP DOUBLING" "And Eliwood wins!" Let's get Canas up here. I'll share why soon. Here's Erk's stats. He really has become a magic tank. KILL Everybody's gone... EVERYBODY BUT GLITCHSTELLA I drop Canas over here... Dang, he JUST BARELY can't make it to the throne! Maybe I can avoid Limstella's range if I can get him to where Canas is... I'm bored, let's kill someone with a unit that can deal 0 damage! Yep! And nope. Keep it up Vaida! You're doing just fine! Secret shop! (Note: There's a barrier below the bottom of the screen) Honestly, this is kind of dissapointing. There could have been a lockpick or some legends here or something useful, but we simply don't need anything. Okay, let's get Hector over there. Wait, why can't- I KNEW THIS WOULD BITE ME IN THE BUTT I wait until Turn 20 to see if there are any reinforcements... But there are none. Not sure if it's because I killed Limstella or what, but those shamans were the only reinforcements. I then savestate back to Turn 13. I haven't showed this mug yet, but it replaces Anna. And it's AMAZING. Our only option is to chance it! Or use a rescue staff, or a warp staff, or a zillion other strategies that would work fine...but this is more fun! Glitchstella dies and reanimates again, and... We're gone. Not really. It was only 14 turns. These text replacements are amazing. Nils is apparently a money-focused man. Well, this is it! Athos regular hit him, and it killed Nergrinch in one hit, despite the stats saying otherwise. Nergal didn't drop Ereshkigal and since he died, it moved onto the Dragon. FE7 CHAOS MODE: EPISODE 30: SUPER DUPER BONUS ROUND: Let's just do it all in one update! Note: We'll be attacked from the rear anyway Everyone, it's time to fight...the ANGST ELF Enemies shown not accurate. We don't get to bring very many people, so I bring everyone who hasn't capped their level. This is another map I never played in normal FE7. As you can see, there are berserkers everywhere. Kishuna is kinda pathetic. You can snipe him and end the chapter anytime. He has the last free ultimate seal though. Which we don't need. Every single berserker is about level 20. This SEEMS tough...but keep in mind we've been tearing through level 30 mooks for the past few chapters. This place is just one last burst of easiness before the pain begins... Almost every single one of these guys has a stealable. You can use these to max out anyone who still needs it. And I'd suggest you do. I'm not gonna get them all, but I'll take as many as I can. Some of them have relatively unremarkable droppables. We start with SNIPING! And moving. We'll go in a circle then reach Kishuna, and then murder him. Or at least, that's the plan. ...Bad start. This guy actually crits. The stairs almost immediately start spawning reinforcements. None of them have stealables. We start taking stuff. Excellent level, Vaida! Let's see how well you can do... Things keep happening. Bluh. Come on Priscilla, you were so good long ago...but now you're just obsolete... OH THE PAIN More reinforcements. Vaida's staff animation. Keep it up Vaida! You can max everything! Canas is sitting on a nice little pile of loot. I like. WARRIOR>BERSERKER I TAKE IT BACK I don't need these, but whatever. Taking them anyway. This is the last chance for you to hit yourself, enemies! DO IT! That's all the droppables. Huh, this guy doesn't move. Okay, let's start opening the chests! ... ...I sold all my lockpicks. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU---- So, yup. No chests. Looking at other LPs, the chest contents are: *A fortify *A runesword Honestly, that isn't that important. But still... Man...I wish the secret shop last chapter had lockpicks... Whatever, let's continue. From down here now! Due to me restarting, Lyn lost her strength cap. And she REFUSES to regain it. All she has left is the devil axe now... SO LET'S DO IT WHY ARE YOU NOT HITTING YOURSELF FINE THEN. ERK WILL HIT YOURSELF INSTEAD. Well, no defense cap, but he got everything else. WHY COULDN'T YOU BE A CHEST KEY Let's give Vaida more kills. Matriarch ALSO has a cool dodge animation. And then, reinforcements just start pouring from all the stairs. They continue for quite a few turns. I gave you a stimulant, at least nab HP! Lyn hits herself. Better. Her normal attack animation is just holding her staff up as it does things and then the spell casts. Perfect level! Man, so much Hammerne...I think of restoring some of my weapons before I finish the chapter, but I don't, and I regret it. So the plan is, my units cower in the bottom part while Vaida attracts and kills the berserkers for levels. We run into some complications, but not many. Berserker train! Also, random Lyn level! YES YESSSSSSSSS ONE OF THEM HIT THEMSELVES Nils only has C staff rank, even though Ninian had A! Here's his staff animation. I don't think it's been shown before. He actually makes a good Restore bot, since enemies won't try to Silence him for some reason. Just him now... Uh oh, looks like we actually need that door key. I could have been totally screwed if I had decided to throw it away... The simple act of opening the door brings more reinforcements. A FEW TURNS LATER I rescuegrind Vaida. She actually gains some luck points. All it'll take now is one icon... I don't need this. So why am I taking it? ...Funds rating. VaidaxMerlinus, just because. POISON LANCE A few rounds later... Fifteen units, but with lots of people forced. Here's the ultimate team. Unfortunately, Guy had to be left out...ah well... Really, I don't think we need a third set of the not-lord lord legends. They should have been replaced with legends for our lord not-lords. If you know what I mean. Say, a Reinfleche, Basilikos, and Excalibur? I don't know! Santa is our very own Fatman, and he's pretty great. He will be VERY helpful. Final ranking! LOOKIT DEM STARS Bluh, whatever. Yeah, let's bring him along! Oh wait...we're leaving him? Awww... Final confrontation! We're heroes! We're NEVER too late! Well, here are our opponents. CAN WE BEAT THEM? ...Probably! Blah blah blah, blah blah blah... NERGAL'S SKIN CHANGES COLOR Only to change back into... CANDY CANE EYE Seriously, that's amazing, haha Hector, you're pretty great, but there's only so many Reinfleches, you know? Yeah! So, the doors open in a different order this time. Even the generic prepromotes are level 31 now. Everything here is super tough, and you're unlikely to accomplish anything with non-legendary weapons. Brendan is crazy. And he's just the first one! NEXT TIME: The final fight begins!
