Sentacotus
So FE7 was my first FE game and I played it when I was around 13 or so and I sucked at it. I did beat it on Normal and went on to beat it on Hector's normal mode but after that I was kinda burnt out. Now from what I understand HHM is punishingly difficult. I didn't know how much so until I saw this video browsing through youtube. Skip to 11:26 for the actual level he mentions some others though in the begining. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnZulWumiig&spfreload=10 Good god thats horrible. I remember it being hard enough on normal mode. Granted I know that FE is a series known for its difficulty but damn guess I underestimated it. FionordeQuester
Hey now, let's not be TOO hard on this chapter. The game doesn't abuse FoW too much like it does at some other times (like Living Legend), and besides, you CAN actually guarantee Zephiel's survival. Just check out this Max Ranking LP to find out how! http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3701153&userid=0&perpage=40&pagenumber=22#post442969171
Mekkah
I like how he hypes up Ursula's difficulty and then shows exactly why she is so trivial by attacking her up close while she has Bolting equipped.

Still though I can see how she is frustrating as hell she could just ignore your unit entirely and go after Zephiel. Plus for someone playing with fog of war on or just playing it for the first time and not knowning that she moves on the 13th turn could be difficult. Blaze The Great
Has anyone ever read the LP on LP Archive by Artix74 of this game? It's a pretty good LP, and I feel like it adequately demonstrates all the punishment this level hands you.
Mekkah
Come on, turn 13. If you haven't found her by then you must be a first-timer who is afraid to explore every corner of the map.
Sentacotus
To be fair she is in the bottom right corner and most people are probably focused on protecting Zephiel which by the time you reach him is like turn 7 or 8. Then most likely the next thing is to get Nino so you can recruit Jaffar.
Mekkah
If you're a first timer and playing Eliwood Mode she's actually on the left where Maxime comes from.

sirmola
Not sure. However, I will certainly ask the TC if I can do this for all of his updates, if you wish :) Although i would like that very much, there aren't that many more chapters before the end of the game, so i will probably only have to wait 3-4 months to read it in it's entirety on the LP archive anyway (assuming a decent update speed, and no more hiatuses in LP archive updates), so I wouldn't want you to do too much work an my behalf. I would still love it if it is minimal bother or any of the assumptions that i made in this post are unreasonable, though. chococoke
The last few times I've done this chapter on HHM I really haven't had any problems with the NPCs. Jaffar may get hit once or twice, which is good because he will heal up and retreat from the mass of enemies that start close to him. I also tend to rush down the right side of the map (which doesn't really have too many tough units) to the right treasure room, which just happens to contain a rescue staff that can be used to save Zephy
FionordeQuester
Alright Sirmola, here's all of Lyn Mode by Melth! But beware, the image quality of his pics start off pretty bad until Chapter 3, so do keep that in mind. Also, he's wrong about the Funds Rank in regards to how much you need to S Rank Lyn Mode. 32,000 is enough for the White Gem, but you need 35,008 to clear the Fund Rank. Just so you know! dondon151
the bad part about this chapter is that jaffar can die without any chance to rescue him if he gets unlucky and either gets hit too much or just enough that he doesn't retreat and use an elixir and instead dives into a group of 2-range enemies. Topazd
seeing this makes me wonder, does anyone like fog of war? I'd go as far as to say that those who don't like it belong in the minority. Florete
fun stuff, but heck even nino can die before you can get to her if your unlucky.I'm pretty sure this can't happen if you're fast enough. Unless the Monk that attacks her can have an existent crit chance.
