Tamanoir
Are you saying the water could potentially be that art thing you're referring to, or that there is a precedent for things with fire in the name to control water? It's unclear what your point is. No need to search any secret meaning there, really. Your post reminded me of that little trivia, that's all. (They're firing water in an arc) You may consider the Fire here is in a figurative/symbolic sense, referring to the Passion of her songs, or a reference to the Burning Heroes, but that would be a little far-fetched, I'd admit. I apologize if I came across as rude or argumentative. Some people on the internet say strangely aggressive things (like to the point where I wouldn't even call it passive-aggressive, more like abstract-aggressive), and I wanted to be sure that wasn't the case here. I'm thinking it's just Aqua's dragon powers. Wasn't it said somewhere that hers were supposed to be abnormally strong or somesuch?

Actually, if the European and Asian settings leads to both European Dragons (Fire related) and Asian Dragons (Water related), that would be pretty amazing. (and another contrast between Nohr and Hoshido). Not quite sure what to makes of it though...

Only earth and water affecting powers are ever mentioned, so it's more likely that the european dragons are earth related. Weren't earth dragons evil in previous FEs? If that is the case I wonder what it means for Nohr... Edited May 22, 2015 by Honey Bunny

So since Kamui is from Hoshido would she turn into a water dragon while Aqua is more like a fire dragon (being from nohr)
Crysta
I think the water imagery is strong with both, imo. But I do like those sort of contrasts.
