blah the Prussian
I feel like this gym battle was a moral loss, even if you didn't actually lose a Pokemon. Bah! Moral victories are for the weak! And Bhutan: http://lparchive.org/Paradox-Hohenzollern/Update%20110/ In any case, Primeape is actually quite fast. I don't know if it's Arcanine fast, but it would at least be plausible. SilverHairedFreak25
Thank you, Anna, for sparing this poor Arcanine (and most likely the rest of the team) a horrible death.
momogeek2141
Thank you, Anna, for sparing this poor Arcanine (and most likely the rest of the team) a horrible death. Just watch, Anna will not spare Shuuda in the next battle. Actually, Shuuda seems to have lost at least one pokemon on EVERY OTHER GYM BATTLE (ignore Faulkner. Actually, that's still technically every other gym). How absurd is that?
Shuuda
Episode Nineteen: Double Trouble With Chuck beaten, with only a little drama, I headed back to Olivine to deliver the medicine. The battle against Jasmine was coming up soon... or at least it should've been... [spoiler=Episode Nineteen: Part One] Sure. I don't think Shuckle will be much help to me anyway. That was no potion! It was a Mega Stone! Amphy as the power! Excellent. I'll see you there, with my ground attacks, and fire attacks, and fighting attacks... Or we could fetch some new encounters. Oh no! The Dark Brotherhood have come for Baoba! I dunno know what he did, but he's pretty fucked. Quick! To the Safari Zone! Oh, it's just Team Rocket. Interesting. Their levels are catching up. She's almost the same level as Chuck. Your plan to beat up an old man? I love the Aron line, so it pains me to do this to you. I will help Mira defeat those guys. D/P cameo's need my aid. I think this might be the first time using Grass Knot. Wait... don't Lickilicky's get Explosion? Good thing Porygon2 was here to take all the hits for me. Mira is a kind person. Thank you. Couldn't you of just double battled them by yourself... like what I do? Octillery has a vast movepool. It's so annoying to work around. That animation never gets old for me. Time for a new encounter. And it only took every Pokeball I had. Good catch, though. Kingler's pretty strong and tanky. Ooooooh shit. [spoiler=Episode Nineteen: Part Two] Unlike who now? Petrel... at only £1.17 a litre. Shit! Just look at those levels. Getting pretty tired of seeing that rat lately. Why does it look like it's about to take a piss? No wait... it's poison as well as Dark. Dang it! Okay. A stab, Reckless boosted Take Down should finish this. RIP: Spitfire. I can't say I'm that surprised you died. Damn it, you were a power house. Surviving with one hit point... you dirt little fucker. Aquamarine can handle the rest of this, assuming Weezing doesn't explode. Well... it's not stab, so I'm sure Aquamarine can handle it... Nobsack! RIP: Aquamarine. Bugger. Bugger. Bugger. I'm sure you're friends will hang around while I do some grinding... you bastard. And there'll be more of that next time, as I make my way to the Safari Zone. The team is looking... interesting to say the least. [spoiler=Team] If you think Double Trouble referred to the double battles... nope. Five Way Free For All This time, I have not two, nor three, but five Pokemon vying for a spot on the team. I've brought them all to the same level to make things more even. There're some interesting options, and I'll make my own comments on each of them. [spoiler=Candidates] This vote is for Aquamarine's replacement, hence they are all water types. Neptune was choosen over Razor due to his superior nature. He evolves at level 40, which I will grind him to if selected. A bulky special attacker with Surf, and soon, Ancient Power. Add Blizzard onto that, and he's got a good moveset. Neptune's high defence will let him endure many attacks. Returning from the previous contest. Noordzee will evolve into a Drizzle Politoed, boosting his water attacks. Rain brings both good and ill to my current team. Tedder, also making his return, boasts excellent special defence, good typing, but weak offences. The poison typing will make him useful against Team Rocket. His two attacking stats are almost equal, and he will learn Poison Jab soon, giving him two powerful moves. Then you add Blizzard to the mix, and he could be a well rounded addition. Interestingly, he can learn Giga Drain through TM. Typhoon brings balanced stats, a good nature, and an interesting, albeit situational, ability. The downside however, is that she won't evolve until I get the Dragon Scale from Blackthorn, though it could be worth the wait. DragonBreath gives her an interesting attack. Panzer, my newest catch, is a physical powerhouse. His stats grant him high attack and defence, and his nature helps patch up his weak special defence. His ability is handy, too. His movepool is a double edged sword. Hammer Arm and Stomp give him powerful attacks, and he could learn Dig, as well. On the other hand, he won't get a physical water attack until much later on, leaving him without a stab. momogeek2141
Actually...wait. If explosion is that bad, use the poliwhatever and change him to poliwrath. If you can. Otherwise my vote remains on Panzer.
Ansem
he wont have damp skin when he turns to politoad, but i vote for him anyways since rain dance as an ability seems very useful

Shuuda
Actually...wait. If explosion is that bad, use the poliwhatever and change him to poliwrath. If you can. Otherwise my vote remains on Panzer. There are two problems I see. First, a lot of the exploding Pokemon are likely to be Voltorbs or Electrodes, who are electric types, and even the Weezings all seem to have Thunder now, so sending in a water type would be a bad idea unless it's a Quagsire. Secondly, Noordzee is Timid natured, which is bad for physical attackers.
Shuuda
Episode Twenty: Good Going, Riley As you can see, Panzer is the newly selected member of the team. I gave him Dig to round out his moveset some more. Sadly, he won't be seeing any water attacks for sometime. In the meantime, I have more Team Rocket double battles for your entertainment. After suffering two big losses last time, things weren't about to get any easier. [spoiler=Episode Twenty: Part One] Er... we may. Let's rough 'em up. Panzer better sort out Snover before he joins Aquamarine in the heap. Uh... bye, Drifblim. I like your wig. Damn, I hope I never run into a sexy Wobbuffet. Is... that all? How about a free Pokemon as thanks? Now I team up with a PG goth character? After the way I lost Lancer, I'm not letting any Noctowls live. Man, I wish I had another ghost type. Went down in one hit. I always thought Venomoth were tougher than that. You're welcome... just a bit... Oh dear, it's a lady with balls. [spoiler=Episode Twenty: Part Two] Please go easy on me. Four again, and she'll be tougher than Petrel. I don't know what an Arbok can do, but a Dig or two should sort it out. Shit! Why does an Arbok know that? Thankfully, Saharaden's no push over on the physical side. No Ariana wants to battle? Yes, I'm repeating that joke. That was more of a pushover than I expected. Studmuffin misses two Sleep Powders. I ought to just sack him if he keeps doing this. The situation has hardly improved. Extreme, bro! Honchkrow's cry stabs me through the heart. Damn, fedora wearing twat. You know a Jolteon will still be faster, right? And we managed it without anyone dying this time. I think that's Poison Jab, a move she didn't even get to use. I know I'm meant to be stopping Team Rocket, but... new encounter time! Fine then. I guess I can't afford to miss any. Oh? Well I guess that just fucking settles it then, doesn't it. I'll just heal up instead. It sure is quiet in here, Nurse Joy. [spoiler=Episode Twenty: Part Three] Mind your fucking mouth, Nurse Joy! Oh shit. Another Admin already? Thanks, Riley. Now bring out that Lucario can kick some arse. Okay... but I don't get why you suddenly decided to move outside. Damn, Archer sure looks slick. An Absol? Awesome. Riley's pretty cool, too. I take that back. Absol's apparently made of paper. But now Riley can send out his Lucario! Good going, Riley. His Ursaring landed a critical Slash, so at least one of his Pokemon managed to do something. The health on that thing went down very slowly. I almost though a single electric attack wouldn't deal with it. That'd be a surprise. Thanks Riley... for everything. Two on one? No problem for Xian apparently. Lots of Intimidation going around, but a single grunt doesn't scare Panzer. I know. I though Riley would actually be useful. No thanks. I don't need any more failure rubbing off on me. Worry no more, old man. As reward for saving you, I'll happily bugger up my encounter for the Safari Zone. And now this little escapade comes to an end. The team is looking worse for wear, but I managed to patch up the losses from the previous episode. Jasmine's up next, and I'm not to sure Studmuffin will be able to pull his weight in that gym. Blaze The Great
That was pretty intense. Glad your team has decided (for one episode, at least) that dying isn't as good as living is.
blah the Prussian
Well, they don't actually die. I roleplay Nuzlockes as the trainer not wanting any weak Pokemon, similar to Paul in the anime.

Shuuda
Episode Twenty One: Big Iron Snake! As you might be able to tell, from my fantastic title, and the image, it's time for the next gym. This time, it's Jasmine... just Jasmine in fact, because the other trainers don't battle, and there's no puzzle. There may, however, be a little surprise in store. [spoiler=Episode Twenty One: Part One] You make her sound like a serial killer, mate. Says you, who doesn't want to battle, and then hand over their money. Cowardly woman. There can always be a round two. Yeah, this bit is just a formality really. [spoiler=Episode Twenty One: Part Two] And I use the... blub blub! Many types! And mine are worn out, over leveled, and hoping to not die! I hope you still like Magnemites. Studmuffin actually landing Sleep Powder for once. Got to admit, that's a pretty cool attack. Surprised you managed to win a fight so smoothly. Great. I've got just the move right here. Well bugger that then. That's right, you can piss off. Are you just going to stall or something? You're not the only one who can block attacks. I'll gawk if this thing has Magnet Rise. That's another ace not putting up a fight. Good job, Verdante. And here was a Forretress. Okay, just put this to sleep first. This... might be a problem. It probably has Levitate, so ground won't work on it, either. I'll have to bring in a fresh Pokemon to take it on. RIP: Saharaden. That actually bothers me more than usual. At least you stalled out the rain for a bit. No choice but to brute force it. Bloody hell. Jesus Christ! How could something like that cause so much trouble? Just in case you can't ohko it. There's no running away this time, old pal. Good show. I'll admit it... mostly in skill. Here's another attack I didn't see at all. [spoiler=Episode Twenty One: Aftermath] Ten losses so far. Damn, there's some good stuff in here. Replacing Saharaden's going to be tricky. I think my Cubone is the only other ground type I have... or is he? ... Sure thing. What've got in mind? ... I think everything will be fine. And I'll try to take care of this Steelix. With that, the sixth gym is over. Things should be quieter for the time being. The next few parts will be item hunts and new encounters. As for the team; it's looking decently strong now.
