Shuuda
Episode Twenty Six: Petrel! Dealing with Team Rocket is likely going to take quite some time, but there'll be plenty of tough battles along the way. I kick things off with dealing with Petrel. [spoiler=Episode Twenty Six: Part One] I might as well pick up a new Pokemon while I'm here, since there won't be any encounters for a while. Fine by me, just don't do anything funny. Looking like a loser. Aren't I a ten year old, you weirdo? Hey, Fuckface. Well, obviously not, considering how much they lose. As to why the game couldn't just let me do this before, I have no idea. That some nice stair guarding going on here. Beats me. Thanks for spoiling it anyway. [spoiler=Episode Twenty Six: Part Two] Time to beat up some grunts. Yeah, don't even think about exploding. And I like to cause trouble, too. Trouble for you. How sad, but we're going to crush it anyway. I get the feeling I'll regret using Thunder without rain up. We'll, I've got a surprise for you. Trapsnatch's new attack! But that's not all... Two fantastic grass attacks at level 47. I'm more for Archer myself. He's slick and sexy. This is excessive, but awesome. Your design to find your old boss? Couldn't you just put an ad in the papers? That's the grunts out of the way. Now to find the Director. [spoiler=Episode Twenty Six: Part Three] You're off your rocker, old man. Praise me instead, since I keep kicking their arses. Oh... it's just Petrel. One last time, Petrel! I guess all the Admins have full teams now. Showdown of the early route normal types. Let's see who's best. Damn it all. He pulled a Rampardos on me. RIP: Arrow, you were cute at least. At least I can finish you off easily. Not this shit again! I'll finish you off before you can Sucker Punch. I wasn't expecting him to bring something like that. That's not good. But least I didn't keep Xian in. Close call, but Trapsnatch is earning his place. Ulysses tanked its Psychic surprisingly well. Disgusting thing. Too bad for you, Panzer has Shed Skin to cope with this kind of shit. That's for Spitfire! Here's where I forget how Panzer's Choice Band works. No hitting for him. At least he didn't use Thunder again. Steel type, bitch! And that one was for Aquamarine! You're done, Petrel! Good game! Wouldn't it have been a better idea just to kill him? Jeez, thanks Petrel. You're not so bad after all. Well, it's not the worst loss I've suffered. I guess Quartz will be making a comeback in the next part. And that's just the first part. Next time, I'll be taking on my rival once again. After that, it'll be the Admin boss rush. Plenty of interesting battles in the future. blah the Prussian
It speaks volumes about the Johtan military that a criminal organization has taken over an entire city. Shuuda
Episode Twenty Seven: Smug Snake Now we're on the second part of the Team Rocket Take over. There will be no Admin battles in this part, but instead a battle with the Rival. This time, he's got a full team, ready to give me a run for my money. [spoiler=Episode Twenty Seven: Part One] Sounds like a plan. Enter beyond this point. Aww... shit. I get to enjoy beating you once again. A full team now. Let's see what that last Pokemon is. Damn, all these Honchkrow worry me, since they're kind of strong. For now however, Gerardo has them covered. After his grand performance against Pryce, Quartz is making his return. And now he makes his exit. Is that Typhlosion also Scarfed? ... Not so fast, Typhlosion! Glad I used Strength instead of Head Smash here. Good call. At least it's not a Kingdra yet. That's going to be real scary next time. Why do I keep sending out a fighting type to deal with psychics? The team's taking a lot of damage right now. So that's his sixth Pokemon? That doesn't look good for me. There's been an odd amount of ExtremeSpeed users in my playthrough. Ulysses will be getting to soon enough, too. This isn't getting any easier. I don't know who else can take a hit from Gengar. Missed the Thunder, and Shock Wave doesn't do enough damage. I've got to swap out. Fortunately, Xian's got good Special Defence, too. It looks like there's no choice. I've got to bring out a Potion and hope Xian doesn't get fully paralysed. I wish you had eased up on a gas. Jesus, that was rough. [spoiler=Episode Twenty Seven: Part Two] Lookin' fine, gents. Thanks for the free tip. I've never liked this puzzle. Forunately, I've got the hang of it over the years. Now to find the Director. Here's no mercy for you. Nyah-ha-ha! I remember you, too! Xian's getting good at giving out criticals. I wasn't expecting that. Good game, mister. You guys are just filler to pad out this episode. Good work. Another TM I'll never use. You better not just be Petrel again. I wouldn't past him. You'd think Team Rocket would remove these things from your person. That just came out of no where. It just seemed like they wanted to find some geezer. And that's it for the second part of the Team Rocket take over. Next time, I'll be taking on even more Admins. I plan on doing some more grinding up to prepare for the boss rush. I'll be doing a bit of swapping around of team-mates, too. The team is still holding together, but they'll be much stronger next time you see them. [spoiler=Team] I might do a special team preview bonus later, just to show you some of the additions. Shuuda
Even if it means you won't have a counter to Sliver's Kingdra, Panzer was the right call! I'm going to keep Dragon Pulse on Ulysses, because there's going to be a lot of dragons in the future. After doing a bit of grinding and move teaching, I do think Panzer's gonig to be performing well in the future. This hack lets him learn Crabhammer from the move relearner. I didn't realise until after doing some Heart Scale farming.
Shuuda
Episode Twenty Eight: Executive Rush With the Rival beaten again and the Director found, the Team Rocket take over his drawing ever closer to its conclusion. This episode, I've got Executive, who I'd been calling Admins before like a twat, battles back to back. Along with the five who make up the core of my team, you'll be seeing the various candidates for the final slot. [spoiler=Episode Twenty Eight: Part One] Because I know Proton will be bringing various Pokemon who can learn Explosion, Rusty the Steelix will be first out. He's got unbreakable physical defences and a brutal movepool. Hey, Proton. Long time no see. You're not still mad about the whole Slowpoke well business, are you? I've grinded my team up more, but I'm still worried about these battles. Yeah, sorry, mate. Ground type, so that Thunder stuff ain't gonna work. Oi! Get back here! This thing tried using Heat Wave while Rusty was digging, so I ain't risking it. Swap out to Xian. You know, that Crobat missed Heat Wave when I swapped into Xian. Lucky it did. Oh, and since this battle is such a cluster fuck, I should let you know that the crobat doesn't die from this. He swaps out again. He just keeps fucking doing it. My bad if this match is hard to follow. Pokemon changing all over the place here. Here's a demonstration of Panzer's new move. I feel stupid for not checking the move relearner earlier. There's no running this time! I enjoy being able to use recoil moves without almost killing my own Pokemon. Spanking the bull. I dunno. Tauros just seems a bit random for Proton. Yeah, I finally taught Thunderbolt to Gerardo, along with Shadow Ball. It's about time I gave my ace a proper moveset. I wasn't angry before, but this nonsense battle ticked me off. I get the feeling it's going to explode any moment now. Xian really isn't right for this after all. Fuck these Weezings and their random movesets. The winner of this obnoxious battle, is what I am. I think you'll find it's the other way around, mate. Jesus Christ, you just couldn't make that easy, could you. [spoiler=Episode Twenty Eight: Part Two] Next up, we have our faithful friend, Studmuffin. His stats may be on the weak side, but his moveset is powerful, and he carries the very handy Sleep Powder. I don't know why you're laughing. I practically beat you two one one last time. The good news is that I know at least four members of her team now. ... And Gerardo's got a new toy to deal with this one. Not strong enough, it seems. Thankfully, she wasted her turn on a potion. Since Shadow Ball got the stat drop last hit, finishing her off was a piece of cake. Ugh... I wondered why you swapped that in against a Jolteon. Good thing Xian's got Intimidate. Oh yeah, Xian got a new attack as well. It was a long time coming. Dang, I'd like a Milotic, but getting a Feebas is pretty much impossible in a Nuzlocke. You'd think a Milotic would at least carry Ice Beam. Good for me, I guess. Speaking of Pokemon I'd rather like to have; I've got a Dusk Stone just waiting to be used. I hope that's the last Honchkrow I have to battle for a long time. For some reason, I always feel like they'll kick my arse. It's those strong Sucker Punches. I like anything that gives me a chance to watch that animation. I recall last time these two fought, Studmuffin had to retreat. Thing will be different this time. Bang on! Grinding! That's three Executives down. Just the last battle with Archer to go. About sodding time. And that's it for part three of this Team Rocket bonanza. Next time will be the finale, where I take on Archer's full team. So far, you've seen Quartz the Rampardos, Rusty the Steelix, and good old Studmuffin. There is however, one other Pokemon vying for the sixth slot. They'll be making their showing in the next battle, so look forward to it. Blaze The Great
Heck yeah you want a Honchkrow. Those guys and Murkrow are literally my favorite Pokemon.
Shuuda
It's time... Episode Twenty Nine: Team Rocket Finale! With all the other Executives down and out, the only foe remaining is Archer. This is the fourth and final part of the Team Rocket take over episodes, so sorry for having dragged it out for so long. As you can tell, the special guest team-member for today is Majestic the Togekiss. He'll be vying for the last slot along with the others, assuming he doesn't die. [spoiler=Episode Twenty Nine: Part One] Super annoyed that the ability changed when he evolved, but his stats are great, and his moveset is nice and varied. Going up. I know half of Archer's team, but I'm not sure what he'll open with, so I'll have Intimidate out of the gate. Yep, and you're the only one left. Dang, he's slick. Yeah, I did even more grinding. I'm just a bit over levelled. Please don't survive, I don't want to eat a Close Combat after recoil. Yeah, I'm loving Flare Blitz so far. Why even send that out? You might as well just give Gerardo experience for nothing. Poison/Dark types are so annoying. I don't want to risk Dig, incase it has Earthquake. Panzer's just going to power his way through. Incidently, I gave him the Choice Scarf, just to help him outspeed. This is bad. Man, all these Pokemon that I wish I had on my team. Drapion's just too awesome. Making his battle debut; it's Majestic! Hardly a scratch on him. That high special defence is really handy. Manboobs vs a vagina. Go! There goes another really great Pokemon that I don't have. Speak of the devil. I love Scizor. It's one of the best out there. But... it ain't doing jack here. That ends his parade of me having to kill some damn fine Pokemon. That Archer, man, he's got it good. Aww... don't feel bad. You went out just like Giovanni did; beaten by a ten year old. And finally, Team Rocket is defeated... [spoiler=Episode Twenty Nine: Part Two] Hang on! Who the hell is this tosser? What's wrong. Too familiar for you? Well, bring it on! That's a fine coat you've got there. I want it as a prize. Phew, my entire team got healed for no apparent reason. That's real fortunate. Rats arse! I guess I've got to sit here until he eventually wakes up... ... after four turns. If any of it's Slashes had been criticals, then Ulysses might have been killed by mere normal attacks. It's Rock Gyarados! I hate Rhyperior. It's so ugly. Evolite Rhydon is better in almost every way. I know this one has Thunder, and Crabhammer has a ten percent chance to miss. Don't bugger this up, Panzer. Man, Panzer is in the zone right now. For a move that's dominating this battle, Crabhammer is pretty anti-climatic. Here's the twist; it's going mega evolve and steam roll my team. Though this could be just as bad. Christ! I need to change my trousers. And it might be about to get worse. Yeah... I'm glad I didn't risk a Flare Blitz right now. Please, stop! I can't cope with all these Double-Edges. You can kindly sod off now. Unstoppable! I told you it was familiar. Okay, now serious, you can all piss off now. You're done, Team Rocket. [spoiler=Episode Twenty Nine: Aftermath] Is that it? A feather? Not even money, or a fancy TM? Well, fuck you, sir. I think I prefer Team Rocket. Thank god my team got healed between those rights. And there you have it, folks. Team Rocket has finally been defeated. It was quite an ordeal, and not even made it to the other side (RIP: Arrow). Things can finally continue progressing as normal. But first, it's time for another little contest. The Sixth Combatant Over the course of battling Team Rocket, the sixth slot of my team has changed a number of times. Each Pokemon who filled the slot demonstrated some good battling skills I feel. Only one, however, will continue on with me for the time being, and I'm letting you lot cast your vote on it. [spoiler=The Candidates] Quartz the Rampardos. Perhaps the most destructive of all the choices; having smashed Pryce and the Rival's Typhlosion at the cost of almost dying. His Head Smash makes for a great panic button. Rusty the Steelix. Boasting massive defence and good attack, Rusty has proven himself very reliable. Having another steel type might be useful in the next gym, since the move relearner can give him Ice Fang to deal with Dragons. Studmuffin the Beautifly. One of the first Pokemon I caught, Studmuffin has been an on off member of the team. His moveset is diverse and strong, and boasts Sleep Powder on the side. Majestic the Togekiss. His fantastic stats and moveset make up for his terrible ability. Majestic is both sturdy and versatile. Shuuda
Episode Thirty: Business as Usual After all that exciting stuff with Team Rocket, I'm sure everyone's looking forward to getting back to what matters; spending an entire episode on a few routes with no significant battles. This time, I'm heading for Blackthorn. I do fetch an interesting encounter this time around. One that might be very handy in the next gym. [spoiler=Episode Thirty: Part One] Time for some good honest fun... were I hopefully won't lose anyone. Rusty, the choice of all three people who voted, doing his job nicely. I'm thinking of replacing Iron Tail on his set with Ice Fang. I get the feeling you're going drop very quickly. Sweet animations. I think that's probably the Steelix. I'm sad I never caught a Mareep or a Flaaffy. That's a Bellossom... but you can't see it. Again, I've got a giant metal snake with me. It'll do that. A lot of cool Pokemon around here today. For the Electabuzz that I actually could have! I fucking hate these trainers. They seem to be pointing at each other. Again, using Ulysses against a psychic type. Rusty has Crunch, too. I've got a spare Kings Rock if you want it. Or maybe a Water Stone? That's most of the trainers out of the way. Time to start getting some encounters. [spoiler=Episode Thirty: Part Two] That's okay, I suppose. Swift Swim looks good at least. I considering a rain team again. The ones I can't catch? If only Wild Charge was a thing this generation. Xian would be pretty unstoppable. I'll take that Swinub, please. Okay, that's a seriously interesting capture. Good moves off the bat; can learn Ice Punch via relearner; can give me accurate Blizzards. Abomasnow even got a good stat buffing in this hack. Siberia might be making an appearance in the future. For the Magmar I don't have. That's one cool piece of ore. How if differs from any other rock here, I don't know. My Gyarados sung in praise. I would've kept it anyway. I kind of need it. I love this puzzle. I love it so much. It's not a time waster at all. So many ways to use this, but only one TM. I don't think anyone on my current team can use it, but I think my Seadra will enjoy it. What in the hell are you doing here? Don't you have a proper job? But... now I'm stuck! Well, you did just see me coming out. Next time, I'll be dealing with things in Blackthorn and preparing my team for the gym. I don't want to muck up against the last Johto gym after all. Darrman
I'm imagining the Slowking and Ulysses are debating. "No, Pidgey is a great unit, it can fly, and flying is good." "Are you crazy? His stats are awful! You get Spearow a chapter later and has far higher strength." And so on and so forth...
Shuuda
Episode Thirty One: Flying Fortress So now I'm in Blackthorn, but as it turns out, there's not a lot going on. This is just going to be a very short part, with me getting an encounter and preparing the team for the gym. [spoiler=Episode Thirty One] If I'd already seen it, I wouldn't be feeling so nervous right now. Hurray! Now we can have a Kingdra, too. Kingdra for everyone! This would be great, if I didn't already have a boat load of water types. He's saying we can catch a dragon type in the water nearby. Let's give it a whirl. C'mon Dratini. Delightful. Now to fetch an actual encounter. Let's hope for something that can kill dragons. That's some rare shit right there. That's pretty freaking excellent right there. And it just got even better. You've waited long enough for this. Those are some fine stats. I've got quite a few of these all rounded at by disposal, it seems. I think I'm just about ready for Clair now. Shuuda
Episode Thirty Two: Item Wasting It's finally come; the last gym in Johto, boosting all those nasty dragon's we didn't see when I teamed up with Lance. Let's hope that Clair is just as weak as he was. [spoiler=Episode Thirty Two: Part One] Surely that means I can win through the power of legal action. I've seen the adverts. So... not tough at all. Maybe he meant Typhoon. Now to sap all that life energy away. Well, there were only four in all of the second generation, so that's hardly a surprise. They're both dragons, mate. Sort of at least. What's the worst it can do? That's just spiteful. That Crabhammer makes Panzer unbeatable it seems. What a disappointing last trainer you are. [spoiler=Episode Thirty Two: Part Two] Almost good enough to win a nuzlocke then? Bring it on! I've got everything I need to win. Yeah. I'm thinking I might still be over levelled. Well, it did more than Lance's Dragonair. That's strange... ... Clair only has five Pokemon. I wonder if Drayano's ran out of ideas for this gym. You could've had a Gabite at the very least. I take back everything I just said. More Dragonairs please. Shitting hell! Siberia, no! ... Or not. I shouldn't be smug, considering I just wasted a very useful item. Better than losing a Pokemon at least. I don't think you've got a Focus Sash of your own. Not even a Yache Berry. And now that hail is up, I can keep going for Blizzards. I know it seems cheap, especially since I'm over levelled, but I want an easy gym battle for once. Sadly, Blizzard won't do much against her Kingdra. Just going to have to trade blows the old fashioned way. If she lands a critical, I can say goodbye to Ulysses. It still made quite a dent. Check it, Clair! All eight Johto gyms are down for the count! Hand the badge over! [spoiler=Episode Thirty Two: Aftermath] Well, fuck you. Fuck you and your stupid cape. I'll take that challenge. But if I win, I want that Salamence. Looking good, you lot. And with that, the last Johto gym has fallen. Next time, I'll collect my sodding badge and free TM from Dragon's Den. It's been a long journey, and many good Pokemon have been lost along the way. Of course, Gerardo is the only team member to have lasted the entire time, which is weird, considering how frail Jolteons are.
