In hindsight, I did terribly with team building, giving Cookie renewal and Aegis when Lifetaker would've been much better and have had synergy, putting a Lucky 7 on Gangrel which had no use, and not having a Hammer forge or anything. I also probably screwed up majorly with letting Miriel live so long, though maybe beating her would have been too expensive. So yeah. Tbh I was afraid of losing, I had a borderline turd when Chips Ahoy triggered Galeforks and rekt Stahl and Tharja. If it weren't because Fred Luna killed Chips then I'd probably lose at an earlier stage. My strategies were flawed/didn't worked: Tharja was supposed to snipe sorcerers with Bowfaire and Tomebreaker in case a Sorc decided to target Fred at early game, Vaike was there to Hammer an incoming General but raeg Lobster had invulnerability. So Tharja was rekt so early and Vaike didn't do a lot because TANK LOBSTER, dodgebot Tiki and heavy retaliation from Gangrel, so he was just... there. Miriel would've one shotted Lobster but I feared a Luna proc that would've killed her or connect some brave kill from assassins, so I was really cautious with her. Fred killed chips and that did it to me, I would've Brave Axe'd Tiki but eh. All in all, I need to improve my strategies, polish them and watch out for max stats and all, but it was a nice game. I don't know, I don't remember clearly enough to give such an in depth analysis. I remember something similar about attacking Fred with Gangrel though. Gangrel isn't a bad sorcerer, actually, probably not great either though. Probably shouldn't have taken the Aversa's Night off of him though. Oh yes, Sorcs are very, very deadly, awful, even. Quintessence Posted July 11, 2015 Share Posted July 11, 2015 Galeforks and Lifetaker are a good pair combo, specially when the unit has low health, it would be sort of a revive. But assassins are susceptible to get rekt due to low defenses, while Sorcs serve as tanks and counter hard with either Luna or Vengeance and recover. I think Tomebreaker would have made Gangrel a nastier sorc than Lucky 7 did, or maybe have two sorcs, Gangrel to lead with and one other to tank.
