Avril Lavigne
Hey I'm back again. I successfully expanded my entries in Nightmare, but now I want to replace/add more classes. I decided to add Halberdier at ID 0x61. I mostly just wanted to test the map sprites to make sure they work because that's basically the most difficult part. I tested the Standing map sprite, and it worked! But the Moving map sprite didn't. I added my Moving map sprite to the offset 10B1D20 so I pointed it (90B1D20) to the class ID 0x61 in Nightmare, because it is the class of the Halberdier. I also noticed that some other classes have the same Graphics Pointer as the Animation Pointer. So I did that to test and it still didn't work. Here's what happens: Then I put my cursor over him... HE'S GONE! What am I doing wrong? Edited August 30, 2015 by Avril Lavigne
Agro
if you actually go to that address in a hex editor is there any data there besides FFFFFFFF?
Avril Lavigne
I made sure there was no data there. It's just a little strange
Agro
no, I mean now, is there map sprite data there?
Avril Lavigne
Hey sorry I'll check when I get the chance. I've just been pretty busy.
Avril Lavigne
Okay, got it. So there was actually something wrong with my nightmare .txt I changed it around because there were too many entries in it. So now it's lined up pretty nicely. But I also figured out that Animation Pointer and Graphics Pointer cannot be the same. Obviously point it to the graphics but I suppose I just use one of the pre-existing Animation Pointers from the other classes
