Hatsuoki
I stayed up to watch it and now I can't sleep because of the adrenaline rush. xD Ehh it seems like it would be fun if it was around when I was younger, so hopefully it will be something kids will get into. I'll definitely give it a shot but if I can't transfer my in game team for battles (which we don't know what it looks like right?) I'll really have no reason to join. bookofholsety
might not end up being the most compelling thing to actually play, but god damn the concept is adorable
Emeraldfox
I'd do it, if I had a smartphone.
Elieson
might not end up being the most compelling thing to actually play, but god damn the concept is adorable This is literally the most togetherness feel good thing I've seen advertised in years
DodgeDusk
That trailer was so fun to watch; the "Mewtwo is caught" text actually made me grin a bit. I probably won't ever play Go, but it sounds like it might bring a lot of enjoyment to those who live in built-up areas and have friends who share an interest with Pokémon

Anacybele
Looks cool, but if it's not on 3DS later, no buy. I don't play phone games. Edited September 10, 2015 by Anacybele
Dandragon
the trailer and the actual gameplay shown at the end looks vastly different i dunno man
carefreejules
I find the concept really cool, but can you just imagine seeing a bunch of people running around with their phones, desperately look for Pokemon and pointing at spots where the Pokemon are but there isn't actually anything there? I would love to see an outsider's perspective looking in like "Is this what kids do nowadays?" Anacybele
Yeah, what you said too. It'd definitely be weird seeing people running around with their phones like that. xP

Tamarsamar
The Pokémon Go Plus watch will likely make all the difference between how much I play this and how much I ended up playing Ingress. (Spoilers: once I got past the introduction, I found starting actual Ingress gameplay to be mighty . . . impractical, given that I live on the outskirts of nowhere, so the whole app ended up largely forgotten, even when I would travel). Water Mage
Is it just me, or did only Gen 1 pokemon appeared in the trailer? I guess pokemon from later gens will be released later. But man, even if it is very different from the actual game, that trailer was awesome.
Radiant head
I can't wait till this becomes an app on Google Glass, and half of the world population is living in an alternate Pokemon dimension, and the other half is wondering what they're smoking. The future is exciting, guys. Edited September 10, 2015 by Radiant head

Kiseki
I KNEW THIS REMINDED ME OF SOMETHING I PLAYED ONCE BEFORE https://youtu.be/tUlX77BKLyYWell d'uh. The same team that worked on Ingress is working on this game. That trailer is hype, though I'm sure the thing's still early in development. I'm getting the feeling that the final product won't look like the actual gameplay seen at the end.
Five5
About the ad hype: just compare this ad to all other app ads and it seems pretty standard. I'll probably just catch a few just for battling no way I'll make it to Times square for a ten minute event, this will either be the greatest or worst thing for Pokemon events. Tragonight
Sad to say it but it might crash and burn like all of the other mobile apps and games. No one touches those after the initial hype. I'd like to be able to find and identify someone playing this on the streets. I imagine it'd be as rare as encountering a Shiny in the older gen Pokemon games.
Radiant head
Yeah it's not like the mobile gaming market has been eating away at Nintendo's business or anything.
blah the Prussian
Does it let you use Pokemon moves to clear annoying tourists off the Charles Bridge? If so, possibly the most useful thing for someone living in Prague to have.
