Gilliam actually got two levels here because he proc'd speed and with that could kill the loldier reinforcement that spawned in addition to a fighter.

CHAPTER 2 - 5/13 TURNS

Eirika and Ross went south, Gilliam handled the reinforcements.

CHAPTER 3 - 6/19 TURNS

Broke the second wall on turn 3 so Eirika wouldn't get blocked. She ran to the boss and Gilliam and Ross cleared her way when she got blocked.

CHAPTER 4 - 6/25 TURNS

If Eirika was super op and could ORKO the boss I could have 5 turned. I got to give the bosskill to Artur though instead, which was nice. Ross hit level 10.

this chapter was kicking my ass due to rng. frenchman ate reinforcements while eirika intercepted the boss. seth actually blocked the fort without fighitng anything because some fucker kept running away from franz

surprisingly the easiest chapter so far. broke the second wall on turn 3 after baiting the bandit out of the way with garcia and frenchman went ham on the boss

in other news, i found a weird glitch in ch4 where only one of the four reinforcements from the top side showed up? i can't seem to replicate it though.

eirika and colm went down to the snag, garcia went right for reinforcements and doubled back to get a shit level and franz ate half the map with an iron lance/javelin

5: 4/26

used a weird trade chain with vanessa avoiding combat to get the armourslayer into franz's inventory to bash the boss with. got josh and garcia took the dracoshield village.

5x: 7/33

dumb chapter. ephraim got mediocre levels and barely dodged anything

6: 4/37

garcia dropped franz across a mountain and he charged the boss. everyone else just kinda stood around.

Perhaps only two combat units wasn't the most rout map -friendly choice. Vanessa had to pull a few dodges here and there.

Vanessa picked up the Armorslayer while ferrying Eirika to the boss, Natasha got the Dracoshield.

C5x - 7/37

Pretty self-explanatory.

C6 - 3/40

Vanessa and Eirika equipped slim weapons so that they'd be able to dodge a couple of mooks with some semblance of reliability. Vanessa took care of the boss.

C7 - 4/44

Eirika doing her thing again.

I guess I'll go with pics as well! The B/W stats are also visible but the losses don't hold true, which might be obvious.

Pretty much up to standards, res is pretty good though.

+4 def is something I won't be complaining about! Brainfart, I gave her the Dracoshield

Last time I drafted I had something like a +5/6mag Moulder. Guess I'll have to see how she fares.

CHAPTER 8 - 7/53 TURNS

Turns out Promoting Gilliam wouldn't actually save any turns, so I didn't.

Ross ferried Eirika to the boss and Eirika + two Ross handaxes (he didn't double Tirado rofl) + Artur did the deed. Forde is fucking horrible.

actually I think that's pretty great for a level 12 gilliam. He'll probably get promoted for Fort Rigwald. I think I should have picked Garcia instead of him tbh, but he might prove me wrong next chapter!

Forde did his best but when you do no damage and don't double things don't end well.

Got the Ocean seal with a chest key. Recruited Amelia for her speedwing.

CHAPTER 10 - 5/70 TURNS

Got Cormag and Duessel. Gilliam killed the boss actually pretty easily with the Halberd. Cormag immediately eats a secret book and speedwing.

CHAPTER 11 - 6/76 TURNS

I forgot how the AI worked here and everything just sat around for a few turns despite me having dudes in range.

Anyway Cormag got like 5? levels since he'll promote next chapter, he's good unlike the rest of my team.

CHAPTER 12 - 4/80 TURNS

Cormag flew to the boss and killed him, nabbing me a swordslayer. Forde charged for Ewan's village so Marisa would autorecruit.

CHAPTER 13 - 4/84 TURNS

Ross and Forde promoted. Forde went down the right side with Gilliam (Duessel's too fat to rescue) and Cormag flew up the middle with Ross (ross just water walked) and Marisa tanked damage so Artur could work on his staff rank.

Ephraim/10

actually more useful than Duessel because he can actually be rescued

i hate ross so much

his stats are pretty shit but he's tanky enough to not die when enemies attack him i guess. I gave him Seth's Silver Lance and he can kill stuff he doubles with it (which is surprisingly a lot)

CHAPTER 14 - 4/88 TURNS

wow, Forde MVP

and by Forde I mean Cormag. He ORKO'd Vigarde exactly, and with the power of Door Keys and DANCE I managed to dump Ephraim 5 spaces away from the throne on turn 3, while Forde tanked staves for Cormag (he had to dodge a Berserk @58 hit still, but such is life)

Artur spammed staves, he has B and a bit in staves now, should reach A with some more spam in the desert. Ross fetched Hammerne.

CHAPTER 15 - 5/93 TURNS

Eirika (followed by Innes and Saleh) helped Ross (who was dropped by Cormag) clear out the top enemies, while Cormag went over to take out all the Pegs after getting the swiftsoles and killing osme wyverns on turn 3, Ross got Warp while killing Caellach with the Swordslayer. Everyone else killed the lower half of the enemies, with Valter falling to Dragonspear!Gilliam and Duessel.

Nice.

I mean he hit A staves but he's like -4 magic or something (he's had an energy ring.

He hasn't proc'd magic since he was like level 16 unpromoted or something.

her offence is better than Forde!

For some reason he keeps getting more exp than Duessel. I dunno why, just ends up happening that way.

I had to do a ridiculously complicated trade chain that involved Seth getting the Armorslayer and getting it to Joshua while not getting attacked. In hindsight, I could’ve given him an Iron Sword and all the enemies would have avoided him. Aren’t I intelligent. Lute also did this really great thing where she refused to get hit.

Chapter 5x- 7/41

Orson is god.

Apparently I'm really bad at drafting for Sacred Stones. Or just bad at Sacred Stones in general. Probably the latter.

Artur's magic was too lame to 2 turn. At least he proc'd it this chapter, and the extra turn allowed Myrrh to get a bunch of levels.

CHAPTER 17 - 1/97 TURNS

Warped Cormag, he killed Lyon.

CHAPTER 18 - 6/103 TURNS

Warped people places. Needed a bit more movement to do in 5 I think.

CHAPTER 19 - 1/104 TURNS

Warped Ephraim to the boss.

CHAPTER 20 - 2/106 TURNS

Warped Cormag carrying Ephraim to the boss area.

CHAPTER FINAL PART 1 - 1/107 TURNS

Myrrh killed Lyon after being warped.

CHAPTER FINAL PART 2 - 1/108 TURNS

Cormag, Ephraim, Myrrh and Eirika killed the boss.

Gilliam was a huge help in Chapter 9. Other than that, he helped route Phantom ship pretty well since Duessel was too fat to be rescued by Cormag, and this actually made a difference in the long run. I think Garcia might have saved more turns overall though.

he was still pretty invaluable earlygame, he just didn't turn out well.

if he had like, 2 more magic I would have saved probably 3 turns. Oh well. He still did his job pretty well.

Duessel really isn't that great.

Cormag on the other hand

he's a weird unit in FE8 drafts, since he's either nonexistant or he's totally broken on Ephraim Route. I decided to go Eph route since my team would inevitably just lose on Eirika.

actually pretty clutch, probably would have lost a turn or 2 in final without a trained Myrrh.

10 strength promoted, worse than Marisa/10

his stats were good, but his strength was bad for Ephraim. He also failed to double the final boss by 1 speed, although I probably could have gotten him a earlier and made sure his speed was capped. Oh well.

FINALLY. redid the previous chapter to get some more exp onto franz/garcia, franz charged eirika towards the boss and garcia/colm raided the robe. i swear to god the steel sword merc is a miniboss because he fucked me over in so many failed attempts at this chapter.

9: 10/58

this is probably my most hated chapter in the game. sent franz on a run while colm hung back and killled pirates, while eirika and garcia did a shoddy job of clearing reinforcements. got the draco, killed the boss with KE and then swapped to a javelin with tana to save a turn. undrafted tana mvp.

I'm terrible at rout chapters, which might be evident. Kyle reached level 10 and promoted somewhere around turn 5 but still continues to be horrible.

Vanessa dropped KE!Eirika next to Pablo, and finished him with a Javelin on the following turn.
