Sure, the boss fight is hard, but the lasers, the explosive bullets she shoots from her staff, the way the background changes from a clear night to a fiery hell and then to whatever it is with a Reimu image in the background. Sariel's final form for me was an unnuanced case of "bombs away!" I can't even remember how long it's been since I played HRtP prior to yesterday - I pretty much forgot* you could destroy bullets by shooting at them. *I technically didn't forget, but as I was playing it simply didn't enter my mind to do that.
