My hype is gone since FE13 brought me down to earth. It was the biggest videogame disappointment for me. So my expectations aren't high at all. This game can only surprise me positively. The gameplay is the most important thing for me in a FE game. If the game mechanics are bad, the entire game is bad for me. Even FE13 with its crappy story could turn out a decent game for me, if it had good mapdesign, variety of different mission objectives and staves. (Also, the writing of supports and dialogue in general.) - Because it was popular, it brought in a lot of "casual" players and waifu/husbando wieners. - Lack of diversity in maps and map goals. - Pair-Up trivializes the game. - Too easy. - Lunatic/Lunatic+ completely unbalanced. - Shit story. That's pretty much what I have seen. All in all, a lot of people like it, but I feel like the older fans have a lot of disdain for the direction that the series is heading towards. rinkah's abs are a lie Sakura stole them. The thing is the majority of FE13's cast were fine, IMO. They were just like the typical FE norm, only a lot of them had weird quirks.
