MacLovin
part of me wants to say Carol Danvers. But then we have that issue of Avengers #200 I guess Ororo Munroe counts. As does maybe The Black Widow and Monica Rambeau.
Aizenberg
I hope that's sarcasm. okay, I might be slightly exaggerating, but i honestly think japan makes the best female characters. Especially when it comes to video games.
PeaceRibbon
Lyn from Xenoblade Chronicles X is pretty good. My major reasons come a bit too late in the game for me to discuss it here, but trust me. She's the character with the most effort put into her personality by far. Knight
okay, I might be slightly exaggerating, but i honestly think japan makes the best female characters. Especially when it comes to video games. I don't disagree that they can't make good ones, but their worst are pretty bad. I cited Ghibli's films as my best, but on the opposite end of the spectrum, you have harem anime, an entire genre dedicated to making unrealistic female characters. Then again, the male characters are rarely realistic as well
blah the Prussian
Ooh ooh actually I forgot the best female character of all time: Princess Anne from Roman Holiday. She sacrifices her love for her duty as royalty, which, as you can guess, appeals to me. Really, though, such a movie would never be made now, with female characters instead whining about individualism instead of womaning up and doing their duty. Also, no there are plenty of non Japan female characters that are fine; my guess would be that you disproportionally watch anime so you are not exposed to the better Western female characters. Basically, just make a list of everyone Cartherine Hepburn has ever played and you have your list, as well as plenty of characters better than most of what Japan makes.
