Chloe Neo
Does anyone have a safe, virus free DS Emulator I could download, like provide me with a link or something as well as an fe 12 English patch as I'm a bit a noob with this sort of stuff. Magical Glace
No$GBA and Desmume both work in my experience. Desmume can bypass anti-piracy conditions, but I don't know of any in FE12 so both should be fine. The translation patch page on the main site has a link to the translation. TheEnd
I first played FE12 on No$, so it should work just fine if your PC can't handle Desmume.

avengerfive
http://www.nogba.com/ - No$GBA, Really good. http://desmume.org/ - Desmume Emulator. Personal Favorite. http://serenesforest.net/wiki/index.php/Heroes_of_Light_and_Shadow_Translation - Translation Patch. The download option is on the right side. Download and unzip the file. Inside, you may have to dig around, there's an instruction textfile. But patching it is pretty simple, you use a .bat file(I think) named Drag Clean Rom here. You drag the clean rom over it, and it does the rest. http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=53601- Gradivus' post. Save file with H4 unlocked, male class sets unlocked, and the three DLC items. Edited February 12, 2016 by eclipse snip snip snip
sirmola
dsmume's site appears to be broken (there is a source forge page open, and source forge's now owner stopped bundling adware as of this week.) . nocash's site is up though: http://problemkaputt.de/gba.htm
Chloe Neo
I've got the emulator as well as English fe12
MisterIceTeaPeach
I played FE12 for a JP DS and it wasn't hard at all to play without any JP knowledge. Of course I didn't understand the story, but the battles worked for me, because I could indentify the icons of the weapons and items and read the numbers. Flee Fleet!
Desmume can be a bit laggy for most of the games (in my case at least). Idk if there's a solution for it though.

The link I try does not work on my Drastic

Naughx
Dynamic recompiler. I thought it used Dynarec by default. (Dynamic JIT) Anyway, Desmume is quite cpu-intensive. Edited February 12, 2016 by Naughx

The Envoy of the Beginning
Desmune sucks the lag and hyperspeed I cant dealt with I just when and got one called Na$gba emulator plays Fe 12 like a dream It's your computer. As Naughx said, DeSmuMe is processor-taxing, and will require higher specs to run smoothly. But that's because DeSmuMe is more accurate (read: running closer to the DS hardware) than No$GBA, and emulating consoles accurately requires more CPU-usage. Well I'm using the compiled dev svn builds, but the Windows build should still use Dynarec JIT instead of Interpreter. eclipse
That's the second super-heavy warning I've had to give out in this topic. Here's a quick checklist of what's okay to post and what isn't: Okay: - Emulator discussion (that's DeSmuMe/No$GBA and its ilk) - Where to find the translation patch itself Not okay: - Naming/linking a ROM site. This includes PMing this info, too. If you really, REALLY want to argue about the Not Okay, stuff, feel free to shoot Tangerine a message. PMing me won't do squat, since I'm not the one in charge of the rules.
CatManThree
Desmune works great for me. I played FE 12 on it and I am currently replaying it again on the same emulator with out a problem.
Wickymoi
Also is there a 3ds emulator to use?
BradPitt1
No$GBA is one of the best DS GBA emulators. This emulator is different than the others is that it can be connected with other emulators, So you can play multi-player games with it. It can also work as Nintendo DS emulator as well. You can also check out more emulators here.
