DeSu
I noticed that if there is like a bishop or something, I never think "Ohnoes! Better not send Canas that way!" or anything like that. Does the magic triangle affect you the way the weapon triangle?
Reikken
It barely comes into play. When it does, it matters, but not as much.
Dr. Tarrasque
It's never as important as the weapon triangle where using it effectively means surviving through several 20+ damage attacks while with the magic triangle you either don't do much damage to magic units with your own (FE6) so there's no reason to bother attacking them or they don't any to you (FE7) in which case you'd attack without giving a damn. Meteor
I try to attack magical units with physical ones, and vice-versa. It doesn't really matter.
Florete
I didn't know it existed until I'd beaten the game a few times. Does that say anything?
Raven
I notice it the most when anima is attacked by elder... But otherwise, hardly noticeable.
sunshineYON
It doesn't matter as much which is weird because the bonuses are the same
Ϲharlie
The magic triangle rarely comes into play for me. I usually don't send my magic users against enemy mages.
Just call me AL
Meh, I just attack without caring about it often. And if I do, it's usually for the accuracy bonus and nothing else.
Serene
I don't care about the magic triangle, hell I barely even care about the weapon triangle sometimes
_____
The Magic Triangle is nowhere near as useful/detrimental as the Weapon Triangle.
CGV
meh, not that big of a deal for me
Metal Rabbit
I think the magic triangle is rather useless. Mage units tend to have good resistance, completely negating the bonus of the more effective magic. Plus, most non-sniping tomes have good enough accuracy. Kintenbo
I take notice to it, but it doesn't completely affect my unit choices. I don't use Canas much, even if he's the only Dark Magic user. On the other hand, I often use Lucius, even if Anima using enemies are more common than Dark using enemies. Anima, it's hard to avoid using an Anima user in this game. Erk, Priscilla, Pent, Nino, there's no escape!
DragonBladeSniper
I don't care about weapon triangle for magic, it doesn't affect hit rate that much and it barely changes damage. And your units are usually stronger then the enemies.
Oguma
I don't care about weapon triangle for magic, it doesn't affect hit rate that much and it barely changes damage. And your units are usually stronger then the enemies. This this and this. I generally don't rally use magic because sometimes I found Enemy res>Enemy defense so yeah. uguu
Since my option isn't up there (I just ignore both triangles altogether) then I'll just say that I ignore both triangles.
sandmanccl
Resistance has always been a broken stat in the FE games. If my light magic user is attacking an anime magic user, he still doesn't take any damage in return (most the time.) The magic triangle doesn't really affect my decisions because I rarely have to weaken enemy magic units in order to not risk counterattacks. The three magic types only slightly differ in power, too. HowAreYaBud
I really don't care about the magic triangle.
Smashy B
Maybe in the begining of the game or if the magic user is low leveled, but no, it never bothers me.
