eeeeeeeeeeeeeee
So I made my Corrin a Dread Fighter because I love the class and I plan to marry Subaki. Who in the family could make a pretty good Dread Fighter (considering their stats etc)? Kana/Caeldori/Subaki?
Lance-a-lot
Kanna would lose her most vital tool (her dragonstone) as a dreadfighter so thats iffy. Subaki has naturally high Defense and strength as well as skill so those would definitely help him excel as a dread fighter. Only issue is that he has no experience in swords or knives

I can deal with Subaki not having experience with swords/knives.
Ebony
I gave it to Mitama.
eeeeeeeeeeeeeee
I gave it to Mitama. oooo I have heard lots of good things about DF Mitama I might consider that instead
Loki Laufeyson
Azama (if you can stomach using this jerk) actually makes a pretty good DF. Saizo too. Edited July 9, 2016 by Loki Laufeyson
Roflolxp54
Dragonstones aren't exactly cracked up to be in Fates, even if Hoshido Noble Kana is arguably the best user of it by being an HP-recovery tank. Since Kana and Caeldori are siblings in your case, they're very much clones of each other in terms of stat mods -- it largely comes down to preference and level ups. In terms of overall growth, Kana and Caeldori would probably both be better Dread Fighters than Subaki would. Generally, classes with access to 3 weapon types generally aren't the greatest since a specialist class can easily be superior at a specific weapon type. Not to mention raising weapon ranks are more troublesome in Fates.
Ebony
oooo I have heard lots of good things about DF Mitama I might consider that instead Personally I think my choice... well... choices are Mitama, Azama, or Kaze. I usually give it to Mitama because I like her more then Azama.
Admiral "Bull" Halsey
I choose Felicia for no reason. Unless someone convince me otherwise, I don't see why not.
PizzaRice
I hear Mozu is a popular DF. And i wonder how well a DF Keaton/Velouria would do.
Hli Tshiab
Dragonstones aren't exactly cracked up to be in Fates, even if Hoshido Noble Kana is arguably the best user of it by being an HP-recovery tank. It's pretty useful for Lunatic Conquest, for tanking a good portion of early game and even late game. Having a tank in birthright is also pretty nice. Sadly they're only good if you go magical and this Kanna won't have that great of a magic stat. I recommend Caeldori, if only going with family, and Azama or one of the ninja brothers. The ninja brothers can transfer sword and shuriken rank over to their classes so it helps.
Lance-a-lot
On my Revelations playthrough I gave it to Saizo, Kaze, and Corrin and they all did amazing. Its a pretty solid class in general, Kaze and Corrin seemed better with it than Saizo though.
DragonFlames
I gave it to Midori in my most recent Conquest run and she was pretty amazing with it. Her mother was Beruka, so she had both Poison Strike and Savage Blow, which probably helped. She actually replaced both her parents once I switched her from Apothecary and gave her the two Weapon Scrolls I had. She was my crit machine for the rest of the game, because I gave her Killing Edge, Killer Axe and the crit Shuriken, which is called Shaken in German, but I don't know its English name. Petersheikah
I made Azama and Kagero!Dwyer Dread Fighters because i hate the paladin class and butler isn't really fitting with that mother. Azama turned out to be great, I was able to get him an arsenal of silver weapons because of that skill which doubles the recovery speed of stat debuffs. Dwyer however turned out to be insane. I used an eternal seal to bring him to level 25, and he maxed strenght, magic (boosted with items) , speed, resistance and hp. He ended up being my best unit by far. Edit: forgot to mention I also made Azura a Dread Fighter, mainly because I don't like her as a songstress and I love her hair physics when she moves. Not sure of she'll turn out to be good because I still haven't grinded her yet, but she'll probably be a glass cannon. crazy_man
Saizo has been a great Dread Fighter for me. Married him to Orochi and used his decent Magic stat to deal good damage with the Flame Shuriken if needed. paladin21
It's the Barb Shuriken. So far I've only used Kaze and Rinkah as DF, mostly to help early game lunatic with a "promoted" character, but keeping their weapon ranks (shurikens for Kaze and axes for Rinkah), while slowly raising the other two weapons as needed. However, I felt that the first two skills weren't that useful, even a waste, since there weren't that many enemies that could cause them magical damage anyway. From the common characters, Silas would have swords in any of his classes if turned DF, but you'd be losing mobility, so I wouldn't recommend it. Both Felicia and Jakob would have weapon ranks shared among all of their classes (only missing tomes to attack if turned Strategists, but they'd keep their staff rank). Kaze would be able to use either swords or shurikens in any of his classes, so his usefulness wouldn't be hampered by that. Hinata, Rinkah and Saizo are the only path units in BR that would have weapon synergy across all of their classes (at least one common weapon in each of their natural classes with the DF class). In CQ, Laslow, Beruka and Xander can switch to DF keeping their weapon rank in at least one weapon, but both Beruka and Xander would lose their high mobility, however, they'd benefit from higher SPD and RES growths than their original classes. Espinosa
Dread Fighter works best for units who already had some shuriken rank, Kaze benefiting from it the most (overkill speed but could use more str and def). I personally enjoy using DF Corrin a lot on my runs until switching over to Master Ninja at lv. 20/15, sometimes the other way around. I do prefer Master Ninja because of the innate bonuses and better shuriken rank allowing the use of Soldier's knife.
Wayward Alchemist
Dread Fighter Azama eats early-to-mid game for lunch even with starting at E rank weapons, and he won't fall off at the end, either. In my experience he's almost at Pally!Jakob's level of awesome. The only real drawback is that you only have one of him.
Michelaar
Mozu is also a pretty decent dread fighter
Mira Vermilion
What about Mitama if her mother is Rinkah?
Wayward Alchemist
Mitama's Strength growth is absolutely slaughtered if her mother is Rinkah. She's better off as a Staffbot that can run up to the front lines to heal somebody and take a few hits or as a Pair Up bot like her mother (in most cases).
