Before you play the chapter (the one where you invade the camp with the Bengion Senators), Soren suggests to NOT kill the fleeing Senators as it may cause problems in the future. Well, I didn't bring Heather with me into the chapter and those Senators were carrying some pretty appetizing drop items. Well, I killed them; no regrets. My question is: what are the consequences, if any, for killing the Senators? This is my second playthrough, but I don't remember since it has been awhile.
