Florete
I guess it's not like she has the only weird Fire Emblem name. Plenty of other names are weird, hers is just the weirdest.
CGV
a lot of weapons have weird names, like the S weapons and Lord weapons in FE 7 Ereshkigal, Basilikos, Reinfleche, Durandal, Armads, Rex Hasta then FE 8 comes back at us with L'Arachel
NTG
Well, some or most of those names are from mythology (probably), hence the weirdness. I personally don't find much of the names weird.
Admiral "Bull" Halsey
Also did you guys know that Rienfleche means Anti-Arrow in french?
Raven
Also did you guys know that Rienfleche means Anti-Arrow in french? Can't say I did know. Naglfar, in Norse Mythology, was a ship made entirely from the fingernails and toenails of the dead. That's from Wikipedia too, so it's no lie. CGV
Wikipedia knows all. It's so good, teachers are jealous and wont let people use that to site their hw im sure all those weapons come from some greek language or foreign language
Admiral "Bull" Halsey
wikipedia isn't always accurate seeing as theres like millions of users editing that site every 24/7. And Rienfleche actually mean anti-arrow because "fleche" means arrow in french. I happen to know this cause I'm Canadian lol. But anyways Reinfleche is actually a mispelled in the NA version at least thats what I heard.

Florete
Ereshkrigal is a goddess of the dead in Norse mythology, I believe, and Rex Hasta simply means King Spear Wait, Ereshkigal is a goddess? It sounds more like a god's name. And where did all the mythology come from anyway?
CGV
Wait, Ereshkigal is a goddess? It sounds more like a god's name. And where did all the mythology come from anyway? well since we couldn't pronounce L'Arachel, we were looking at other weird named things and found the origins of them
Metal Rabbit
Wait, Ereshkigal is a goddess? It sounds more like a god's name. And where did all the mythology come from anyway? alot of stuff seen in RPGs come from norse/greek mythology.
Florete
alot of stuff seen in RPGs come from norse/greek mythology. I know that, that's not what I meant. I meant where did the discussion arrive from? I thought we were talking about our SS troubador's name?

Tino
Ofcourse not. I'm quite familiar with the way topics end up on this forum now, so yeah, it doesn't surprise me either.
