Not because they're hard but because they take a whole college semester's worth of time to finish. community is still trash tho, literal weeb invasion ever since awakening tbh. The arena was only good so you can make your other units catch up because the maps were too bloated and too few of enemies. Awakening and weeaboos like me saved the franchise. I wish Advance Wars was saved by a dating sim and weeaboos back then. I like Fire Emblem and all, but she still could not completely fill the gaping hole Advance Wars left in my heart. It is like your first love and childhood sweetheart died and you settle for marrying her sister. I both love and hate this new sentence. Not as an Advance Wars guy (Haven't gotten into them but tried a bit), but because I can't let it go. I understand battalions are no acceptable subsititute.
