Acacia Sgt
Now only an announcement of an out-of-Japan release and I'm truly happy. Well, even if not I can still import, language has never stopped me. And indeed, they are skipping a lot of the story, but then again, with the exception of EX, La Gias had always been gaiden when it comes to story. 21_21
Alos A.C.E. R for PS3 http://superrobotwar.wordpress.com/2010/04/07/this-weeks-famitsu-magazine-58/#more-12286 Holy Crap! Code Geass is finally in!? Awesome. Full Metal Panic on a console, double awesome!! Perhaps this'll influence Kyoto Animation to continue making more FMP and Fumoffu. And yay Char's counterattack and Crossbone Gundam! Not to mention couple of other series from Z coming back. Didn't expect Orguss to come back though, but yay to that as well. But to be quite honest, I still don't like using only one unit from each series, which the gameplay requires according to Terada. Which means it's either Lancelot OR Shinkiro rather than both. But everything else is awesome, especially the graphics.
bunny: spider bitten
Apparently, the SRW J translation is actually close to completion. A few months or so left. Not that it's the height of the series, but english is english.

bunny: spider bitten
Well, we waited long enough for it. Well, out of all the portables, it must be like the 2nd best. Well, on the one hand, it looks the best and isn't bad. But I think if you were to ask about all the GBA/DS SRW games, J is supposed to be like the one of the worst due to the poor story slowing the pacing of an easy game that abuses numbers. Oh, and the SEED story dominance. Of course, that's not something that the average American player notices, but I've heard W is supposed to be better and aside from the old look, D, A, and R are rather strong titles as well. On the other hand, they're supposed to start D after they finish J.

bunny: spider bitten
What is generally regarded as the first best? If you can't read moon speak, W is likely superior in every way.

Acacia Sgt
Too bad the Supers' armor was bugged in that game, but at least there was the Megazone 23 units and their insane avoid...... Anyway, OG:LoE is only a week away from being released over Japan. Even if it ends up not being translated and released elsewhere, I'm still getting it. No way I'm missing it due to language. It has never stopped me anyway. <_<

Tauro
Anyone here play any of the games? I've played the first SRW on the Gameboy, OG1 and 2 in english, W, Alpha Portable, and if some people count it SRW OG Saga: Mugen no Frontier. I've played a bit of SRW3 via emulator. Could never pass the third stage, though... :(

Acacia Sgt
On the chance it's an OG game, I hope it is where they all go to La Gias. Having already integrated the OGverse version of LoE, it would be a good follow-up, not to mention it does comes next in the time line. A traditional one would be fine too, though it would mean it would stay in Japan like they all do. <_<
Thief
After Endless Frontier being chosen over Original Generations and its Gaiden, they can all stay in Japan for all I care.
bunny: spider bitten
http://www.siliconera.com/2010/06/16/namcos-super-robot-taisen-for-3ds-is-brand-new/ Essentially a stand in. Like the PS3 game that still hasn't come out or the Wii game that came out this year. While Namco probably benefited from the Bandai merger, a company like Banpresto won't get a 3DS game making tool early enough for it to be of use. Especially not in OG3(likely, at this point, to be a DS title). Espect another DS game late this year and probably an additional one early-mid next year before we see any 3DS title. As for being bitter about OGs and Gaiden, not only are you not missing much of the former but with the latter The Wonderswan 3 characters leave, Alfimi and Axel go to another dimension, Shuu becomes evil, and the R characters break down their weapons. Though Fighter Roar seemingly stays and that last one may be reversed, plus Rishu's involvement and Lamia's death are semi serious, if they wanted a US release of OG3, they could work around it or even include it. chances are it's not even their fault. bunny: spider bitten
There were some rumors about an appearance by Cybuster. Not sure how accurate that is. Too bad it's on the PS3, otherwise I'd snatch it up.

bunny: spider bitten
Well shoot, if that's the case, I guess I'll have to get a PS3 by TGS - SRW games being so damn notorious for staying tight lipped until ~three months before they come out. And seeing as how it's somewhat likely this is an OG title. . .
