Gerik's crap; Josh is way better. Lute and Franz are pretty crappy at first. Moulder is just plain fugly and everything, and healers that JUST heal suck. Sages can heal much more effectively.

2.) Not without Tower Abuse. Why spend time on a unit who has EQUAL stats to Franz, but takes a lot more time to raise, and is mediocre to start, something you seem to despise?

3.) Gerik has better Strength, Defense, and HP. He also gets Axes upon promotion. Myrmidons=/=Mercenaries. You can't compare them.

Really, I don't think Fire Emblem was created for people to argue about who's the best.

Technically that's what the debates are for. They exist to determine who are the most useful characters when playing the game regularly. The trainees (except for maybe Ross) suck on a regular playthrough (as in, no arena abusing or using the tower). Besides, arena and tower abusing can make ANY1 broken for this game so it's not a good idea to go around saying some1's great if you're basing it on the fact that they become good through tower/arena abuse. Only time I would see such reasoning being good, is for a FEDS Wi-fi Tier list, that's it.

There are good and bad characters, you're free to use any1 but don't go trying to say a bad character is good when it's been proven that they're not. (Sheeda in FEDS is a low tier character, I use her anyways)

Apparently, I need to point this out again.

Amelia will NEVER reach Franz's level. Franz will have a huge level lead when Amelia joins, and she'll likely be 10/15/0 when Franz is 20/5 at the Endgame. Want me to compare THOSE stats?

Edit: She'll be 10/15/0 if you baby her beyond belief.

Skill would help if enemies were actually good with avoid but they're not.

Resistance would help if this game was packing an assload of magic units and there aren't that much.

Luck is just 1 avoid, 1 critical avoid and I believe 0.5 Accuracy. Enemies are inaccurate in this game so really, who needs that much luck?

Like Flynn said, Amelia's way behind in levels compared to Franz.

Franz comes early, Amelia lacks significant leads on stats against him and she's not reaching Franz level through normal play.

Which character do you have an easier time with? Franz

Which character is useful for more time in the game? Franz

Which character doesn't need to use the tower or arena to catch up in levels? Franz.

Again, no1's saying that you can't use Amelia, I've used her myself and just because Franz is better, that's not gonna stop me. Franz is undeniably better than Amelia.
