null Posted July 11, 2020 Author Share Posted July 11, 2020 Will be made aware that said shipping war refers to the toxic ship wars between those who shipped Katara and Aang (Kataang) and those who shipped Zuko and Katara (Zutara), characters from Avatar: the Last Airbender back in the late 2000s (although people still get up in arms about it now) The first pairing is canon and wasn't controversial in itself, but the producers made things very toxic when they made a video mocking those who shipped Zutara, the non-canon pairing.
