Alastor15243
So, recently I played Birthright immediately after playing Revelation, and it suddenly occurred to me when I first ran into enemy guard stance users that I couldn't remember a single Revelation enemy that was in guard stance. Not one. Am I correct? Is there really not a single Revelation enemy that was in guard stance?
Shadow Mir
Unless you count enemies from the Conquest paralogues (and I don't think you are), I doubt it.

Yeah, correct, I'm not counting those. Just the mainline campaign.
Eltosian Kadath
As far as I can tell checking the good wiki, there is exactly one; in chapter 13: A Lost Peace Peri and Laslow are the only paired-up enemies in Revelations

But yeah, playing Birthright, it's night and day. Edited February 18, 2021 by Alastor15243
Shanty Pete's 1st Mate
The common paradigm I've heard is - Birthright increases difficulty by adding more enemies (including guard stances), Conquest increases difficulty by stacking skills on enemies, and Revelation increases difficulty by inflating stats. The lack of enemy skills and guard stances in Revelation makes it somewhat "braindead" relative to the other routes. Eh, I still have a lot of fun on it, though.
