I don't know if it's also a the name of an existing entity in Fire Emblem, but the skill is new to Heroes. She's just a background character, though. Grani is written "グラニ" (gurani) in Japanese, whereas Grahnye is written "グラーニェ" (gurānye). Her name is based on Grainne, Diarmuid's wife in Irish mythology. But getting more into Grani, found out that guy was named after the mythological horse, even stated in-show.
