FE3, I adore all of it's little details, it's unique mechanics, and while it's slow as hell, I always have fun playing it.

Haven't used Subaki myself despite having like 4 of him, but fliers in general are rather meh in this game. They can ignore terrain, but having the same move as footies hurts as does their bow weakness since they effectively fear two color types because of it. So I say bench him, but feed him crystal levels if you want him to be good for your mess around team, God knows that's what I'm doing for Adult Tiki

No, if FE5 can get away with it despite it not having a way to get it to go away beyond using other units, this method where you are commonly given alternative methods to deal with stamina is fine by me

You can get 6 orbs from the orb map, as clearing each difficulty once nets you the reward, but you can't get more than 6

Just give me a Leif or FE3 Marth again, the naive or idealistic prince growing into their role as ruler can be done very poorly if Corrin is any indication, but those two I adore so much that I'd really want to see a game with modern FE's production values develop a Lord as well as those two. Can't do that, then just make Tiki the Lord

This thread can be summed up nicely with one of my rules to live by, "Opinions are like assholes, everyone's got one, and they all stink" Now to contribute as to why I feel FE3 is the closest FE has to masterpiece/make me look like a hypocrite for spreading an opinion after explaining why opinions hurt this thread, FE3 was FE's SMW, and it set most if not all of the standards followed by modern FE today.

FE3 is my second favorite game of all time, so if I consider any FE a masterpiece, there she is.

PATH OF RADIANCE Like holy hell, I had more troubles with Awakening Normal Casual than I did PoR Easy mode. How do you make a mode that braindead easy?

Easy mode with fast foward button held. Tho I do intend to hit the very easy patch just to screw around at some point

Worth pointing out that while dragons DO appear prominently in Elibean lore, they are not considered gods, instead Elibean worship goes for St. Elimine, most countries, or the spirits, Mother Earth and Father Sky, Sacae

This pretty much. I usually like returning characters mind you, but if Ike himself were to show up, the actual main characters would get upstaged very quickly. It doesn't help FE2 already has FOUR reoccurring characters from FE1, so adding more in this specific game could cause trouble.

I'd be down for this, I love reoccurring characters, so it'd be neat to see it happen more often.

False, FE11 and 12 both had supports, they just behaved like the most asinine way possible, a fusion of SNES FE with GBA FE, so you'd get the bonuses if two characters wait beside eachother long enough, but there is no indication of that besides character A suddenly dealing more damage when character B is closer

Promote asap in Gaiden, as it's nearly 0% Growths the game Not sure on what detrimines group XP, however I do know not in battle units cannot level up from it. Read, Tobin gives the group 3 exp, but Alm has 98 Exp, Alm would only get 1 group Exp No grinding I'd say it's middle of the road, once chapter 3 hits, the game hits a big difficulty cruve, but with proper spells, you can break it
