  1. Personally, the more controversial parts of the localisation from Treehouse didn't actually effect my enjoyment (or lack thereof) of Fates, it was mostly down to the terrible voice acting, and the crappily-written story, and that is down to the writers, not the localisation team. Point is, while I loved 8-4's take on SoV, I still am not too worried about them not localising TH.
  2. At least their design actually is aesthetically pleasing this time, unlike the travesty that was Corrin (seriously, wtf was that design?)
  3. Personally, the Byleth shown on the battlefield, looking at their profile image, looks more male than the Byleth landing a critical hit, which looks a little more female, which suggests to me that they are, in fact, an avatar. Anyone agree with me on this?
  4. Personally, my mains are generally Lucina (because it's basically easier Marth, and Awakening was my first FE), Sonic (because speed is great), Falco, and the occasional Robin/Ike to change it up a little.
  5. There's already been topics on this. In my honest opinion, there isn't much hope that we'll actually see a Western release of any of the festival dlc, as the time between the last wave is just too long. Sorry.
  6. Figured you may be interested in my playthroughs as I do some Sonic and FE stuff :P https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCse0YHXP-quEqD1UmcT_dOA

  7. Personally, I like going with dark knight for a +mag/-Lck Corrin, as it allows me to use tomes like Nohr noble, except he doesn't wield the tomes like a bloody idiot. (Obviously, I'd only change when I have Nohrian trust). Or, I may also go with great knight with a +str/-lck build, because great knight is actually fairly decent in fates (except for Gunter, but we don't mention Gunter.)
  8. Just hopping into this topic now, but I can agree, even for a normal run, chapter 10 is HARD. I mean, I was playing on casual, yes, but I managed not to lose any units when I finally beat it (yay). I think the thing that screwed me over the most was the fact that Elise was my real main healer. Sure, I used Felicia, but Elise was just more effective for me.

  10. Twenty-seven thousand, five-hundred and ten.
  11. Yeah, and there's also the fact that they expect you to BUY DLC to understand Owain's, Inigo's, and Severa's deal, yet they still left plotholes! WAT? I'm not a fan of the whole dlc dealio, but that's a thing for another topic. Also, I don't get why a few of the gimmicks in revelation are explained/ barely explained. I mean, why even BE THERE if you're not going to explain their existence?! For example, the friggin' weird elevator things in the chapter with Sumeragi. WHY DID THEY NEED TO BE THERE?! Maybe I'm just nitpicking, I dunno.
  12. and Chapter 2, but you'll only lose that if you try to. Me, personally... I have lost a couple of times, granted, one of them was on Conquest, on that chapter that you go to Valla and meet grandpa Jagen, and another was Revelation with THAT SODDING TELEPORTATION.
  13. I personally like +mag/-lck Robin as a dark knight. Also, lifetaker would be, for lack of a better word, a life saver in some of the chapters (like that irritating one where you fight Walhart GARGH) Then again, if you are looking for a challenge, I'd say do something like Assassin Robin, I dunno.
