  1. Nintendo of America's version of the tweet. We've now gotten twitter character introductions for all of the characters introduced in the Famitsu article (minus Byleth's dad, who didn't get a full intro). Dunno if they'll wait until after the next famitsu to start introducing more characters or not.
  2. I don't know if we'd get a new trailer or not. It feels like it'd be a huge missed opportunity to not have anything on the new game. But there probably won't be anything big. Maybe there'll be artwork of some of the new characters on a poster or something? We'll know tomorrow. And we might get new info from famitsu next Wednesday.
  3. Nintendo of America's twitter has been posting the little character blurbs too. For Edelgard, it says: So pretty much the same as the JP twitter. Unfortunately, we don't get any voiced clips, which is a shame.
  4. Yeah, I kinda doubt they're going to add Three Houses characters to Heroes this far before the game releases. Maybe right when the game releases or a few weeks after, but definitely not in May.
  5. These cutscenes are made using the in-game character models, right? They look pretty impressive. Also, since we first got a clip of the two Byleths, then Sothis, I wonder if we'll get short clips of the house leaders in the next few days.
  6. @The DanMan Go to the third page of the "Every character organized by house(with images!)" topic, fourth post down. I've posted it before.
  7. @The DanMan We've known about that portrait since February. I posted about it in the character topic. Though your image may be a bit more high-quality?
  8. Too soon to tell. If marriage is still in (and it probably is, but hopefully w/o kids) I would hope that they'd build on Fates and include more available same-sex relationships, not remove them entirely. Like, at least one gay option per gender per house. My big, unlikely hope is that there'll be a cool butch lesbian character in the game even if there aren't any romantic supports.
  9. No, one character having the same color tights as another character does not mean there's a reference. And we don't know enough about the game's structure yet to say if it's taking after Persona.
  10. Also, looking back at that screenshot, Lances have 10 less durability overall than their sword counterparts, while axes have 5 more durability than swords. Weird.
  11. The sword costing 260 is called a Trainer, while the lance costing 280 is called a Practice Lance. It looks like training weapons will be this games' version of bronze weapons.
  12. Right now, I'm guessing that Dorothea belongs to a family of prominent merchants within the empire. It'd explain all the jewelry she's wearing (along with her nice hat).
  13. I'm guessing that Dorothea is going to be one of the most popular characters. I feel like it's a pretty safe bet, all things considered.
  14. Vincent's translation is up, so now we know that Dorothea's starting class is a commoner, and Caspar is a noble. Other known nobles besides the main three include Bernadetta and Linhardt.
  15. The classes that we saw Edelgard could change into in the previous trailer are likely the tier 3 classes (With tier 1 being noble commoner and tier 2 the other 4). You can likely change into any tier 3 class from any tier 2 class, but being a certain tier 2 class will probably make it easier. My guesses: Myrmidon -> Mercenary or Thief Soldier -> Knight or Cavalier Fighter -> Brigand or Archer (Fits with the axe and bow specialty) Monk -> Mage or priest Though cavalier may just require you to get a c rank with a sword, lance, or axe and riding. Flying units are probably similar.
  16. @VincentASM Thanks! Didn't catch that the first character was different, though that definitely makes sense.
  17. @Arvin Since fist weapons are a new element, they're probably going to talk about them in a later issue. Same with the battalion/formation thing.
  18. So here's a screenshot of the weapon shop, and there appear to be more spears than swords available (Maybe because you joined the Blue Lions?). Some of the weapons are also greyed out, which I don't really get because you have more than enough gold to purchase them. Some weapons also have the same name as another weapon on the list, except with ten more uses and a 3 in the second category. Does anyone know what the second category says?
  19. Good stuff. Also, we got a name for the blue-haired guy in the Golden Deer (I think someone in another thread said his name was Lorenz?) and we can see really small character portraits for the two girls we saw in the trailer. Now we just need to see the starting characters in Dimitri's group. Also, I remember Edelgard having more than four basic classes to reclass into, so I guess you can just keep a character in their base class until you unlock the more advanced classes if you want to? Or the trailer we saw wasn't indicative of the final game.
  20. The updates might not be weekly. We'll certainly be getting lots more updates from Famitsu, but I don't think the article specifically said new info would be coming every week. I think there was a bit of confusion as the magazine is called Weekly Famitsu.
  21. Actually reading through the article with the preview, it says that in addition to explaining the story, the setting, and the main characters, it will go over the combat and academy parts of the game. Additionally, there will be more information on the game in future issues.
  22. Looks like we might finally get some info on the main three's personalities! Finally! I wonder if it'll go over some of the new gameplay mechanics or have more character profiles. Also, if Flying Shogi's translation is correct, does Sothis have amnesia?
  23. Oh yeah, I completely forgot about FE Expo. That's in less than three weeks! Hopefully there'll at least be a new trailer. By E3 the game should be finished, so maybe there'll even be a demo for people to play?
  24. It's now been over two months since we got our last batch of information with the February direct. We have 101 days to go until the release of the game, so there's still plenty of time for them to give us more info, but it still feels really weird to know so little about the game so far. To be fair, I think Fates had about 77 days between the first trailer and the next, so this isn't exactly unusual. (I realize that I'm not counting the 5 seconds of trailer footage or the cover reveal, but they don't really tell us anything new about the game.)
