  1. Oh, I wasn't sure if you were talking about chatting or something like that. Yeah, messaging works too, I guess. We'll continue talking there then. Oh my god, you beautiful bastard! You actually did it!
  2. I wasn't able to find a way to PM in Serenes. Is there a way to PM in RHDN?
  3. My, you look like a more seasoned hacker than me (Not a hard thing to achieve, honestly). Your patch looks way better than mine and even has the ※ My only complains would be: -I don't know how familiarized you are with Gaiden (Which is the next thing I'm doing btw) since it is a bit more unforgiving with space. -You seem to be struggling with names and Gaiden is VERY limiting with that (Only has 4 spaces for playable unit names and 5 spaces for playable classes). -Even if it's more advanced than mine, I still would feel the need to check all the things I already did to see if I'm fine with them. And yet, I think it would be foolish to just ignore someone wanting to help me in in a project like this. Specially someone who seems to have a lot of useful knowledge about this game and it's code. This is a bit of a conondrum for me. Where could we discuss this if you don't mind? The Maji thing it's from the battle test in the game that randomized classes and names (That's why Wyller, a character that isn't anywhere in the game, is also here).
  4. I know making a FE1 fantranslation might seem kind of pointless now that we have an official one for the Switch. The idea was to make this for Gaiden. But what the hell? It's a limited edition and the translation looks like ass, anyway. So here is Project Elitist (Because two PEs weren't enough): a FE1 fantranslation in 2022. The text is a bit ugly, I know, but I was trying to fit as much text as possible since space limitations is what forced the other patch to butcher the script. I'm not exactly a great coder, so this is the best I was able to do. BUT WAIT! WHAT IS THIS?! HandLn? Maji? SKnight? Shouldn't those be Javelin, Maji and Cavalier? Yes, this is one of those translations. But I know how this goes: if I don't use the names used in the localizations, someone else will. This is why this is going to be separated in two versions: Elite and Paragon. Elite is the one I'm currently working on that is more faithful to the original script and Paragon is a quick edit of Elite with the names used in the localization. Now, let's talk about the most interesting part of this little project: I also translated the manual! I feel like this is extremely important for such an old game. This is where you find the game's plot, item's info and all sorts of important advice. It's a part of the experience and people shouldn't be forced to use guides like chumps because the manual is missing. (Specially in the weird case that someone starts the series here.) About Paragon Paragon is a simple enough concept, but I want to make something clear: I'm not using names from the FE1 localization, ironically enough. FE1 has a lot of weird name choices that make no sense: Wyvern Knight, Skydrake Whip, Master Key... I'll ignore them in both translation. For example: Elite: Dragon Knight (DKnight), Wyvern Whip and Thief Key. Paragon: Dracoknight (DKnight), Wyvern Whip and Lockpick. Also, I'm only using NoA names because I don't want to make three versions of this shit. Elite has Nabarl and Akaneia; that's close enough, isn't it? Anyway, what do we have so far? Elite: -Most of the menus are translated -Only chapter finished thus far is Chapter 1 (But there is dialogue from other chapters translated -The manual is translated Paragon: -UnderContruction.jpg Download it here (I advice against playing it now, though)
  5. I've been searching for the japanese manual for a long time without results so I doubt there is one somewhere. The best I could find is the bland Virtual console manual in Nintendo website without ilustrations or anything like that. I think it explains weapon stats. Not sure if the original manual does that.
  6. I know this is pretty late but that link doesn't work. In fact I don't seem to find the manual anywhere.
