No, I haven't drawn anyone new. >_< I have, however, fixed up some of the shading on Esphyr, Chase, and Irina. Also changed Irina's hairstyle (it's tied back now har har eraser tool). Am reordering the queue a bit because I am completely unmotivated the way it stands, will draw some of the others first and then get back to that. Inactive Account Posted October 24, 2010 Author Share Posted October 24, 2010 (edited) This is hardly "official art" like the others, since this character's already been sprited, but here's a sort of reimagining of Mana doodled during lecture, and a computer-painting in progress taken from it: I wanted to figure out how the wings would work in relation to the skeleton. I went with more batlike wings; the actual membranes haven't been filled in on the top two sets, so the rest can be seen. The middle pair would do most of the lifting; top and bottom pairs would be more for steering/maneuvering. WIP paint: (Shading is next.) [spoiler=And then I scan them in really big!] Left-to-right, top-to-bottom: First row: Tessa; Phoenix and Cynthia suggested a seal, so I came up with an actual seal symbol for a Crimson Weapon; Orange Cat; crappy Altion doodle. Second row: Susann reacts to modkills, Helenos. Third row: The blue-eyed hawk gets hit by Pary's light blast and Yelling Bird is not amused; I play too much Shadow of the Colossus and it looks like climbing Helenos is not really advisable.
