MisterIceTeaPeach
What I want to see returning: all the game mechanics from FE5 or FE10 (don't want to mention them all again, because I did it several times and my list is soooooo long) good story mission types as in Tellius all the weapons and staves from the GBA series a final boss, who can't be defeated in the first turn . What I don't want to see returning: waifu-wars fanservice characters and DLCs endless promotions via second seals (bringing third tier class back instead) pair-up as it exists in FE13 (it can return, but the support boosts have to be reduced) biorhythm Edited March 11, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach
Magical Glace
Want FE6/7/8 Supports, but with FE9 points as well as GBA points. A good story (not big country invades little country and little country fights back again. That's been done way too much in FE GBA style gameplay (no str/mgc split, Light/Dark/Anima triangle/etc.) Route splits Buyable Dragonstones Defend, escape, and Sieze objectives on top of Boss and Rout Past characters obtained in spotpass/DLC have unique models and supports. At least the lords, anyway. Reavers and status conditions Good archers pls Go away and never come back Avatar FE13's support everyone stuff. Limit it to 3-7 supports/character. And no S ranks. Weight, it just screws over some units and favors others FE13's bizarre and impractical designs for some classes. One-dimensional characters Second Seals (I knew I was forgetting something thank you Julian) Single magic weapon level used for everything. Bad villains with no motivations/sympathetic traits that are just evil because someone has to be Akaneia Edited March 11, 2015 by Glaceon Armamentalist
Masadeer
The coats and jackets from RD's third tiers. third tiers are nice, but if you gave me just their apparel I'd be 95% as satisfied. -Hidden treasure! (event tiles in awakening do not count! Hidden treasure has to have nicer things!) - Shops on the map(not on every map, hell I don't even want them on more than half. I want them in the game, just to be somewhat infrequent is all. I want it to be like, oh damn, my weapon's done, but thankfully there's a *drumroll* MAP SHOP!) -actually scratch that. make them travelling peddlers instead. it's more realistic than finding a shady item shop in the middle of nowhere. A true merchant would sell items even in the midst of battle! Anna fails as a merchant! (in FeA at least). <that last bit is just a joke, don't take it seriously.> -Staves that heal the wielder every turn *so i can grind easily on lunatic mode!* -Oh and steal. Because my hoarder instincts force me to make sothe+disarm steal everything that isn't bolted down. NinjaMonkey
What I'd like to see returning: Avatar character Second Seals/Reclassing Marriage Children World Map Pair Up Forging DLC Monster skirmishes Base Stealing Staves being able to be equipped Streetpass Mage hats What I wouldn't like to see returning: GBA-style supports Dismount Capture Fog of War Fatigue Weapon Weight Separate weapon ranks for magic Shops on the map Edited March 20, 2015 by NinjaMonkey
Robert Stewart
What I would like to see: Weight, preferably GBA-style, but Tellius-style would be acceptable. Fixed mode Skill scrolls/manuals/books/whatever, and skills that aren't just tied to classes. Distinct magic types. Even if there's no triangle, it'd be nice to have more flavour with the magic classes. Dismounting, though not as it's been implemented in any current FE. Dismounted units all switching to swords is dum, dum, dum, but the nerf to mounted units is appreciated. Stealing pls. Rescue pls. Manaketes that transform like in FE3 instead of like they do in every other FE game. Leadership! That was a cool mechanic. More map objective variety besides just Kill Boss and Rout. Broken weapons staying in your inventory. Halberdiers pls. :3 Edit: More monster types! Gimme my Gargoyle, Mauthedoogs, and Dracozombies. Cool stuff. Edit 2: buddy/ bond/fixed support, on top of growth supports.FE3's ridiculous statboosters. Gimme my +4 movement Boots! What I don't want: An avatar. At all. Though I guess it's moot at this point.... Movement stars. Blegh. Capture and Fatigue, unless the game is built around them. Biorythm. Pair up I guess. I didn't finish FE3. :V *unfriends* Edited March 11, 2015 by #RR. shinpichu
Eveangaline
Return: 1: Top tier supports that don't always end in marriage. I don't mind some ending in marriage, but finding your long lost sibling, making a best friend you want to travel the world with, or making an ally for life are good too. 2: Being able to get more than 5 supports per game. I get limiting top tier supports since they change a characters ending but for the love of god don't make me replay 50 times just to get basic supports with everyone 3: More beast classes 4: Bards 5: Skills that let you unlock without a lockpick 6: Triangles Please no return: 1: The main lord recruiting almost every character. Like, in awakening did anyone else think Chrom could recruit way too many people? Maybe my memory is just distorting it but I want more recruits to be for specific people. 2: One skill being way too overpowered Maybe return if: 1: Mutually exclusive companions are only good if there's unlimited supports. I don't need 10 more replays be added to something because there's two f***ers I can't have at once and they both have 5 people they can support with, but can only do 1 support per game with someone. If supports are unlimited, go all out, tons of mutually exclusive ones, that'll be great for replay value that's actually different and not the same thing over and over with one different support. Roflolxp54
Want: - Awakening-style supports - Spotpass teams - World map - The option to grind - Option to reclass - Pair up Don't want: - Lunatic(+)-style Risen skirmishes - Legacy characters not having unique models and supports - Bugs like the voice language bug and Streetpass team bug - Junk classes - Copypasta supports Edited March 11, 2015 by Roflolxp54

FlipFlopMist
I want a silent avatar that I can self project on but still bring into combat-FE7's tactician... But improved on! I love the tactition in FE7, especially with how much of a role that he plays, but he still sits in the background not bothering to take in the glory. NekoKnight
What I want to return: Varied mission objectives Relevant terrain GBA magic types, staves and weapon variety Quality supports Awakening-style support points Magic weapons doing damage based on the user's strength, not magic Class based skills but also scrolls Soldier class and promotions What I don't want to return: Children Everyone supporting with everyone Easily acquired Second Seals "Rare" items being purchasable from the world map "People die when they are killed, except when they don't." paralogues Edited March 12, 2015 by NekoKnight
FlipFlopMist
Kinda like Link?Eh, Link's too important, does things himself, and has a focus on him a lot.Think more so Robin, but presented better, with a simple backstory, and very little dialogue. FE7's Tactition only had implied speech, which works if presented right, but I wouldn't want that... Pretty much I want a good balance between Blazing Sword and Awakening, ugh, and please no amnesia, it's almost as cringe worthy as the time travel bs... also, give back steal. ;( Edited March 12, 2015 by FlipFlopMist

They really outdid it in Awakening xD but considering that it would've been the last Fire Emblem if it didn't sell well, I can understand why they would throw all their cards out onto the table. boboliontamer
What I want to return: Support affinities Base conversations Knives Status staves Light magic SOLDIERS Either lower stat caps or a third tier Average stats being a relevant thing Fog of war Close ranged bows Occult skills that only can be used in their respective class Auto-promote at level 21 Weapon weight Ledges Breakable walls and doors Secret shops and hidden Items Ballistas and siege weapons What really needs to go: The fact that dual strikes have around a 70% activation rate at S rank The tropey-ness and otaku pandering Galeforce Second seals as they exist now, at least during the main story Time travel Taguels Assassins having more strength than swordmasters Griffin riders A one-dimensional enemy who probably enjoys drop kicking baby seals just because he has to be evil Those HATS the mages wear The avatar as it existed in awakening How it encourages grinding. I think they should make it so you can grind as much as you want in the post game though. Edited March 18, 2015 by boboliontamer
ClevelandSteve
Stuff to bring back: More objectives, like Seize, Escape, and Survive x number turns. Hopefully some new objective types we've never seen before, too. Magic Triangle, maybe even the Radiant-Dawn-style "triangle within a triangle" thing. Third-tier classes, if the game is long enough to justify them (and I hope it is). Awakening's ability to have more than five supports. However, make the supports better written like in Path of Radiance and the GBA games. If that means sacrificing the ability for anyone to support almost anyone, then so be it. Soldiers. And Pirates. Yes, I know Brigands/Barbarians are basically the same thing, but Pirates are just innately awesome because they are pirates. World Map Reclassing Being able to break down doors. Stealing Shoving DLC FE4/5/7/9-level storytelling Stuff to get rid of: Avatar as a spotlight stealer. Either make him/her the main lord outright or reduce his/her role to being only slightly more relevant than the Blazing Sword Tactician. Bad storytelling and one-dimensional villains. Time Travel Paralogues that let you recruit people who should be dead. 90% of maps being wide-open plains where the enemy just charges you. Nébulya
What I want -Capture! Why did you removed that feature! -Rescue, okay the dual system is awesome, and I like it, but rescue was missing. -More objectives! -All classes from all games, important ones includes T3 from Radiant Dawn (well pretty much all classes) and some others. (the unique one for dlc character if they're, like black knight) -Link Arena, or something like FE11. But with more possibility! -Trial Map What I don't want -Children. It just felt empty to me, and it was annoying to get them all. I'm not saying to remove the marriage, and conversation, but, no children. Unless they're character added appart of all the team characters (same number has other game for 1st generation, and the second generation would be optionnal) -Reclassing. I'm not using it and I don't like it, it remove the trait of characters.

Wayward Alchemist
To Return: -Old map commands such as Steal, Shove, Rescue, Capture, Dismount. -Second Seals, but only if they are nerfed for most characters (Limitited use of seals, etc.) excluding MU 'cause customization so people keep buying the games over here so we don't get any FE12s. -Awakening system of supports, with base rather than field conversations, but with S supports that are either super-duper platonic bonds or the beginning of a relationship, with the whole marrige/besties ending stuff. -Armsthrift. It was broken, yes, but it helped with the cost of weapons considering how big the Awakening roster was, with DLC characters and such, and judging by the trailer, FE14's will be just as huge. -Overworld map. To Go Away and NEVER Come Back: -Weight -Risen. No more zombies! Make the map enemies bands of bandits or something! -Villains that are evil because they are evil. We need more Lyons and stuff. People we can sympathize with.
X-Naut
Come back: -Rescue command -Stealing, including non-equipped weapons -Dismounting -Light magic (just make it useful) -All the cool staves (Warp, Status, Again) -PoR support growth (maybe with some interaction bonus), Awakening's bonus system, and GBA support range -S supports as the highest rank and unlimited A supports -Equippable accessory slot like in PoR Neutral: -Weight (I'd like to see it but can live without it) -Manaketes/Laguz (I don't really care for demi-humans) -Canto (it can return provided mounts receive an existent drawback) -Forging -Reclassing (preferably SD style switching with Awakening option limits) -Branched promotions (neat but reclassing can render it weightless) -Dual Strike (it can stay without Pair Up) -Overworld map Do not want: -Pair Up and Dual Guards -E Rank Rescue staves, let alone buyable en masse -Awakening style reclassing -Too many characters with fliers as a reclass option -Fully class-fluid skills -RNG-based activation skills (at least limit it to once per battle!) -Easily obtained or random extra turns (see Galeforce, movement stars, dual striking on every brave weapon hit) -Children characters
omega zero
Is there any strong reason to have max stat modifiers for the cast? All they seems to do is hinder characters that have certain stat cap configurations. I think personality, appearance, plot relevance, starting class, class set, bases, supports, etc are enough to differentiate characters. Awakener_
Features I want: - The rescue system integrated into the pair-up, I want the option of making a non-used unit the lead unit in a pair-up to a used unit. - Marriage system, no waifu no sales-fu. - Pair up, dual strike and guard. - Unlimited Reclassing.. - Fanservice DLCs and more waifus included in these DLCs. - Awakening's support system. - A true hard difficultly that doesn't require 200 plus turns per-map to beat if one doesn't use DLCs. - Awakening's MU but with more improvements. - Desert's chapter has treasures hiding. - Awakening's skill system. - Story DLCs. Features I don't want or meh about: - Weight, pointless. - Magic Triangle, pointless. - Fatigue, only will make peoples angry. Features that I am indifferent to. - Children, having waifus is enough but I am fine if they're included. - Fog of war. - Multiplayer. - Seize, surviving turns or protecting AI. - Split routes. - Duo protagonists - Stealing, kinda pointless since most enemies carries only one weapons and usually shitty weapons even if carried more than one.
