  1. First of all, they should look like this: The fact they don't suggests to me that you are having browser-related issues. What browser are you using?
  2. I can do that later on, I think. On a side note @VincentASM, all the badges seem to look good to me now.
  3. Can you actually provide the links to the page you're looking at. Screenshots are only good enough for skin issues; I need actual links and posts for anything else.
  4. I'm locking this thread until we're at a point where we can actually troubleshoot.
  5. If you'd like, you can set the allegiance to being a required field and I can force change everyone who doesn't have a selection to the default value.
  6. You might want to tag Vincent in his own thread about the badges. I think that is done to prevent it overriding other "@blah" like text and I'd rather not mess with that.
  7. @VincentASM is the one working on that atm. I thought he was doing it on a different, test skin though. It looks like he incorrectly made those changes to the Serenes Forest skin, instead of the parent skin.
  8. Cloudflare's caching works fine. But if it cached the whole page for a dynamic request, that would be a problem. That doesn't appear to be what's happening, as shown by the rule exception I added. However, I really wish people would stop bitching about this. Yes, it could be related to calculating posts incorrectly. Guess what? The backend is still not done processing the posts. We're only about 30% done with that. Through no fault of our own, it takes a really fucking long time because this version of the forum software was built from scratch and the database schemas are pretty different. There's 4.6 million posts that need to be reprocessed, reindexed, recounted, etc. So hold your goddamn horses and wait until we get to a point where we might actually be able to narrow down what the problem is.
  9. It could be related to caching, but that would be at the CDN level and the cache time is fairly short. I added an exception to this particular query string; maybe that will help. I've still never seen it happen though.
  10. Hello all. A couple updates: I made a lot of skin changes to the dark skin. It should be mostly fine now. Take a screenshot and post it here if you see something weird. Turns out I broke notification e-mails a day or so ago. I fixed that now. Turns out I also broke registration at that same time. That is also fixed. Apologies for the inconvenience.
  11. Aha, that's your problem. That link gets the first unread comment in that thread. The link that says "8 Hours Ago" gets the actual last post in the thread.
  12. I already changed it. There are still a couple places where the background and text are too close in color, but those will get fixed later.
  13. You need to give an actual example of this, first of all, because clicking any of the latest post links leads right to the post for me. Second of all, the forum posts are still processing, so I wish people would stop reporting this shit until that is finished. It won't be finished for like a week.
  14. Which thing are you complaining about with that screenshot? I don't have a problem reading either, so I'm not sure what you're referring to.
  15. 3DS has a shitty browser. It is not real mobile device, so it is not supported. Likewise, if your iPod is older and/or is not even an iPod Touch, you can't expect it to support modern standards. Use a real mobile device, sorry.
  16. That has literally never happened to me.
  17. As hard as I've tried, I cannot reproduce this. The forum is still processing data, though. There will probably be issues until that is settled.
  18. If it makes you feel any better: our number of sent e-mails right now is very low, because I changed every single member's settings to switch to inline. I have to wait to see how our numbers are once everyone logs back in and reconfigures their settings before I can make an informed decision as to whether or not we should turn that feature back on. There is a small chance that it was the bulk of our e-mails during previous releases. If that ends up being the case, I might be able to turn it back on and leave it on until it becomes an actual problem again.
  19. Yes, exactly. We had our default settings misconfigured so that everyone had that feature on and we hit our daily max of 10,000 e-mails in about 12 hours. Our max has since been raised, but that's even more of a reason to disable you from receiving e-mails for literally every single little thing that happens. We don't even handle sending our own e-mails anymore. We sent so many during the new game release peaks that I had to outsource them to a company that charges per so many e-mails, without the content following feature being fully utilized.
  20. No, that would result in a mixed-content error and be less secure.
  21. Fire Emblem Warriors is a new game and, as I just mentioned, we don't put new games in subforums.
  22. Have to start somewhere. Hell, I started learning web stuff with the basics; HTML and CSS, then eventually PHP and JavaScript. The only reason I got into server stuff was because of Ragnarok Online servers and this site. These are big reasons why I ended up working as a Software Developer for my main job.
  23. Wouldn't make much sense to be the only one there. I think Vincent's idea of putting it into General FE is fine until the other spinoffs are not "new" anymore .
