  1. These are so bad, I Gotoh stop reading them. .
  2. Maybe try looking at the class data in a hex editor and see if there are any extra bytes the class nightmare module has a use for? Otherwise I have no idea. Maybe you could just disable junior lord promotions and make the lord of the second gen prepromoted in whatever their promoted class is. Those are the only ideas I have, though your idea for the children is good too.
  3. I think Gen 2 units would be pretty cool, but both ways would be nice. Maybe something like having the growths be an average of the two predestined parents' stats instead of the growths of one plus half the growths of the other would be a good fix? In terms of skills, you could just try and keep all of the more unique ones while cutting down on the overall number of continues/criticals/charges.
  4. There's probably an unused class you could edit over to be exactly like Lord Knight except without seizing ability.
  5. I might look into making it at some point. I think with my knowledge of FE4 hacking and a bit of experimentation I could work most of it out. As long as you edited the new "mothers" in over the old mothers' character slots the inheritance system would be at least functional, I believe.
  6. Here are my hastily thought up ideas: Altenna: Pursuit Corple: None Hannibal: Continue and Pursuit? This is more to make him a viable father than anything else, he's going to be useless no matter what skills we give him. Sety: Critical and Continue Faval: Charge Tinny [becomes the mother of Tiltyu]: Wrath Leen [becomes the mother of Sylvia]: Prayer (having a dancer this early on is going to be ridiculous) Aless: Pursuit, Continue Fin: Pursuit, Prayer Nanna [becomes the mother of Lachesis]: Charisma Leaf: Continue, Critical Patty [becomes the mother of Briggid]:Bargain Shanan: Astra Johalva: Awareness Johan: Elite, Ambush Arthur: Continue, Pursuit Fee [becomes the mother of Fury]: Pursuit, charge Julia [becomes the mother of Deidre with prince Kurth and Julius with Alvis]:Prayer, Live, Pursuit Lester: Pursuit, Charge Delmud: Critical Oifaye: Pursuit, Critical Skasaha: Lunar sword Lakche [becomes the mother of Aira]: Astra Lana [becomes the mother of Aideen]: None
  7. Altenna x Johalva should be fine for Celice, Altenna can use swords. Aless x Leen can both pass down swords so that's alright. I say leave inheritance a mess, it's most fun that way. We probably don't want to give the first generation characters the skillsets of their normal second generation selves because that would just be ridiculous, and imagine what the second generation characters would be like...
  8. Having Tiltyu or Claude in Sigurd's place would be glorious.
  9. A sub run tier list would be kind of fun. It would be Celice > Leif > Laylea > Aless > Oifaye at the top no questions, but it would be interesting to see where everyone else fit in. I'm not sure if anyone has played enough sub runs to debate that though.
  10. What are you guys talking about all the true fans love Barensia. Awakening was probably my least favourite FE, but it's just one game and Fire Emblem has experimented a lot throughout its history. Unless FE14 is also disappointing I'm not concerned about the series at all.
  11. Living against crappy axe users is enough. Brigands carry around 5k cash each so he can easily chip them, and visit villages in lieu of useful units who are needed to do other things.
  12. Staff spam and she can clear the arena with prayer sword abuse. She's also a much better candidate for resources so that helps her too.
  13. I'm not sure. In the end you don't need extra rescue staff availability in a 220 turn play through, though it is nice.
  14. Azel!Aideen isn't that bad? Yeah you only get the rescue staff for two extra chapters (at this rate of play they'll be paired by the beginning of chapter four if you keep them together, which shouldn't be hard with 5 move), but I feel that two chapters of rescue staff is more than a good Lester will ever contribute. Of course we aren't assuming any pairings in this tier list, but I feel it should be a small point in her favor (I happen to like her current placement on the tier list.)
  15. Return Staff ! Janne has some very real turn saving potential, but at 220 turns that's probably not too relevant. I don't think she should be rated very highly.
  16. ... Well, if Celice lands every single blow on attacks and counter attacks it's take him four turns. Depending on how far up I can bring Tinny that might actually be faster. Also, I feel very sorry for Baldrick when he gets to Alvis.
  17. Ugh in chapter 10 Celice needs to get the Tyrfing :( . I should have put more effort into getting lower turn counts in the first generation (which I probably could have), I think there's a good chance you'll beat me now.
  18. Chapter 6:18/18 turns I'm kind of starting to wish that I had given Celice the Knight ring instead of the power ring and speed ring, because then I would have saved another 2 turns, and the hero sword has enough kills he would probably be fine.. Oh well. Typical thing, Celice ran around and got all the kills. I can't remember the castle specific breakdowns. Chapter 7: 20/38 turns Going to Yied was just the typical desert odyssey, nothing special. Finn held onto a return ring and took advantage of prayer abuse to destroy Melgen (he could one shot the mages with a javelin.) I had to waste a turn to recruit Tinny, but once she starts using the rescue staff she'll make up for it. I think this is probably the most I can get ahead of a non-promoted Celice on this chapter while recruiting Tinny, unfortunately for two turns Celice is dismounted anyways so I get no advantage over a leg ring junior lord.
  19. @Horace Leif is allowed the leg ring according to the rules in the OP.
  20. Chapter 5 25/135 turns 6 turns to longfart Pretty similar to Horace. Beowulf procced a continue with the iron cutter to kill the boss. 12 turns to Phinora I took my time here because Dew needed to collect money to give to Sigurd. 25 turns to Velthomer Really bad, but I had to lose turns to have Sigurd buy things/be cash dumped and for Alec to catch up to Beowulf (unfortunately max strength Beowulf is 1 hp off two shotting Reptor and Sigurd needed the power ring.) Midir was put to sleep during Phinora so he got killed by a wyvern, Beowulf died reducing Reptor to one health before Alec finished him off with a slim sword hit, and Dew was stranded at Phinora and got killed by the one wyvern I didn't end up killing. Alec was amazing. Got kills on the light sword, took out the wyverns, and was just all around a great unit. Claude... existed. He spammed reserve a few times and warped Dew over to Phinora to give to Sigurd one last time, so that's good. Besides that he just fell in love with Tilityu and bought a the pursuit ring for Arthur. I also left the light sword in storage, just so that a more important item didn't get shunted out of Celice's inventory for the slim sword. Dew for mvp? Tilityu fought a bit in the arena to give Claude money for the pursuit ring, but that was it for her. I recruited her for the children. Noish and Arden were chumps so I won't bother taking pictures of them. Beowulf is dead but he was pretty amazing. His strength maxed so he could destroy a lot of things and was just a generally strong unit. Midir also chipped in a lot. Dew only made it to level 8, but without him Celice wouldn't have inheritance, so he was still a good pick. It's unfortunate that I'm 14 turns behind Horace, but I don't think it could have been avoided (maybe if I rigged more or did a few optimizations I could lessen it by a bit), but I'm pretty sure I'm going to make up for it in the second generation. Celice will save so many turns in chapter 6, 7, 8, and 9, and even if there is Leif I'll probably meet his turn counts in chapters 10 and the final chapter.
  21. I just realized I'm going to have to sacrifice Beowulf to take out Reptor (unless I want to buy Claude the sleep staff, but then he can't get the pursuit ring for Arthur.) Oh well.
  22. Yeah, I can probably get a really low turn count in chapter 6 and chapter 7 will be really fast too. Having both Cuan and Ethlin is a really strong combination though, if I do another lordless draft I'll try and make sure that nobody gets both of them.
  23. Ok... after chapter 5 I'll probably only be like 10 turns behind. Celice with inheritance will probably be able to make up for that.
  24. Crap, 6 turns behind? Well... I guess I have a lot of ground to give before Celice isn't good enough to save me. The power of Cuan and Ethlin I guess...
