The line can easily go into the Z axis, so to say. If I imagine a single point, I don't need to imagine the whole line. In Geometry, a line goes on forever in both directions. I don't have to see the "ends" to know this, it's a property of a line. Providing the line is on the Z axis, I won't even need to see the line itself. Infinity is a concept anyway, if I believ...
