  1. It'd be more helpful, if you tagged me directly. You can be lucky it's on the top page, so I could read that. Also what do you mean? You can send me PMs as comment my status, although I don't think I have a status.
  2. Silent protagonists are absolutely fine, if they don't steal someone else's spotlight. And CrossCode only features her regarding playable characters. I like it how it's handled there. An other bad example would be Tales of Xillia 2 in which the main character a permanent party member is who rarely talks and only shares little backround story about theirselves and only takes the spotlight of all the others who have a big backround. Anyways my final post for today, gonna watch some video for the rest of the day.
  3. Nah, don't worry, I was jk. I'm not here enough to do it. Though I absolutely like these Lea portraits, they're really adorable. Have played a bit more Ys Origin, came to the fire area of the tower. Still I see no way to beat any boss in my first try. Whatever, at least I made progress, so it's fine! Now I'm done for today.
  4. To showcase that not only Armagon can do it. Expect to see more of it.
  5. Oh, then the first tough ball puzzle is not introduced there. The tutorial gave me some trouble because spot dodging is really hard to use for me. And I'm the exact opposite for having the opportunity to play outside. I'm only playing Ys Origin for the PC because I got the game for about 3 € whilst it cost three times more for Switch. Edit: I have to admit I mainly do PC gaming rn because I still need a PC for streaming all my console games. Though aside of streaming I don't play any games on PC aside of Touhou, SRPG Studio, Trails in the Sky Triology and mentioned Ys.
  6. ^ nice, have fun I haven't played the demo, but I think only the close combat is introduced there. The range combat (ball system) is introduced a bit later. Unfortunately Switch version does not offer DLCs, but I think Armagon told. it will happen in the future. Would buy it, if it's worth. Oh yes, I was so paniced about the taken damage that I dashed in the water. Got it!
  7. CrossCode is a very interesting action RPG. However you should have at least certain interest / skills in ball physics to enjoy this game because all the puzzles require that, and they become really tough. It's a bit comparable to billard unless you don't shot your ball in a pack of other balls. I got it for the exact same price for Switch. I have not finished it yet, but 14 € for this game is a good deal, considering it feels longer than other action RPGs.
  8. It makes all sense, though I have to say I was surprised that I took damage when I walked on the glacier, can't say why. Having cold resistant armor is obvious, but I haven't found any until there. The dish solution was rather by accident; I didn't even know Zelda series has cooking (which is cool btw). Does cold water have an other visual look than other lake water? I jumped into a lake, not far away from the glacier area, and I died earlier than I could see the saving shore. Gonna reply further comments tomorrow.
  9. Yeah, I found out about the pepper dish which cancels out freeze for a bit.
  10. Started with Breath Of The Wild today. It was as expected, without supports I'd have been helpless. Completed all the shrines. The shrines theirselves were not an issue, but getting two them (at least two of them) was connected with tons of Game Overs. For one in the mountains Idk how to prevent freeze damage and the other one had some awful climbing passages. Well, if the puzzles are fine, I'm cool with it. I like (self made) map navigation system. Idk if it's new, but this helps me. The overworld reminds me on Xenoblade Chronicles's regarding size. So far I'm not disappointed.
  11. Finished Kirby's Adventure. I think I am helding the world record for having the longest final boss ever. Oh well, at least I have beaten it. It was not a bad game at all, I just was bad at it. As mentioned before I was positively surprised of the giant variety of abilities considering it was the first Kirby game which had them. Anyways started to play Ys Origin, so sth. completely different. The bosses give me lots of trouble, but I think they're made the player shall not beat them in the first try to learn their patterns. Have beaten the second boss yet. Aside of that it feels quite solid.
  12. Ah, good to know! The second boss of Ys Origin showed me past morning that I might should play with a controller because making precise movement, jumps and attacks in a little time period with a keyboard is pretty awkward. For some reason I could beat it in my second attempt with 3 HP left, still this gave me creeps of further bosses. I might not continue it today since when I'm back home I wanted to start playing Breath Of The Wild for friends. Depends how it turns out. Still have to be at work for the next two hours.
  13. Read that there's possibility Spain will get a possibly temperature all time record in Europe. 50 °C could be possible. I hope @Saint Rubenio will be ok, although I have no idea where in Spain he lives. The heat will mainly affect the south (Andalusia) though all other area will become quite hot as well.
  14. Assuming it's requested character. Yunica from Ys Origin
  15. Hmm, I thought new Ys game would come out friday for non US people.
  16. Oooook, I have this mask... ...after following this. Thanks for the tip. It makes way more sense it being an item...at least for my understanding...but the main thing is I can continue...tomorrow.
  17. Are these the two chests which lay on the platform bringing back to the close entrance of the dungeon? If not, I haven't seen these chests. the proof of not having the mask Anyways have to recharge my laptop, so I won't continue anymore today.
  18. Huh, you meant the two chests which are on the platform bringing the player back to the beginning area? I got them, but I do not see a mask in my inventory.
  19. Now I need some mask although I'm 99% sure I got all the treasures from this dungeon.
  20. @Shrimperor Yes and no. It was the boss which turned into bats, but I don't have said item. Edit: Sorry, I have that shell.
  21. Ys Origin question: After beating the first boss, I got a door key. Though this lead me to a room with a death end. I also cannot escape the dungeon. Idk what to do there.
  22. Sorry, if it sounded harsh. Wasn't meant that way.
  23. Yeah, this is true. Anyways time to continue Ys Origin, so jambuhbye!
  24. 8.5 Sora no Kiseki the 3rd OST - Stairway to Gehenna - YouTube
  25. I don't find Vesperia and Xillia similar at all gameplaywise. Xillia had that linked fight system which I disliked whilst Vesperia had a pretty simple combat system. I enjoyed Vesperia's combat much more than Xillia. Xillia 2 was better by giving the main character more flexibility, but it was also the main issue at the same time since the main character had to be permanent party member. What's wrong with that? Aren't chat threads supposed to be like that? No one is forced to stay here. I am here for maybe 30 min in average per day (including days I don't post here at all) whilst there are others here who are here for +15 hours. Since it's not a live chat platform after all, I prefer other places to have interactions. That's why I also don't backread pages between my posts - unless I'm notified - because the wall or posts beats me up and costs too much time.
