    Started the final chapter of Second Chapter. Without a guide it is nearly impossible. And I have heared that the final dungeon is not fun either...

    If Cain makes it in, colourless would be the sickest colour in a legendary banner ever. However I had very bad experiences with this colour in legendaries in the past... aka COLORLESS HELL. Still I want Alm as new unit and merges for Eir and Cain, so it would be the golden opportunity to do it.

    Yes, the difficulties are mistranslated. JP normal = EN easy JP hard = EN normal JP maniac = EN hard That said unlike in FE9 there is no fourth difficulty. FE10 can be rough for a blind player because the early game features the weakest group with the most fragile lord. It is not uncommon to lose units and get a Game Over. In normal or hard mode for unexperienced players I definitely do not recommend to share experience because the enemies are tough. However there is some help like a quick battle save (not in hard mode) where you can try your moves over and over again and learn to get better. Characters you must / should train for plot: Micaiah Sothe (at least till part 3) Ike FE10 has lots of chapters in which certain side characters must survive as well. In the first four maps no one may die.

    Sounds like me. Playing but not finishing games is a (dumb) attitude of mine. My backlog list is so damn long, about a dozen games I have to finish yet. I would be so excited for the FE5 patch, but it has to queue.

    I must admit with my final 13 grabbed orbs from VG and tower I managed to get a Lucina and Selkie, so 13% rate was broken. Even if the result is still poor, I am not gonna complain. Good times come and go as bad times do. Having only good luck would be too boring anyways.

    This became the worst legendary for me so far. With a 13.5% rate and the last 13 orbs grabbed together I pulled Lucina and Selkie. Both were not really needed since I got perfect copies of them already, but I take the merge (Ephraim would be more useful). My plan of sniping colorless for Grima and Veronica merges or getting another flying healer failed miserably.

    These are +450 orbs without anything. I did not even know it was possible. I remember Phoenixmaster's summoning session of CYL2 in which he got no single focus unit within +400 orbs, but he got a few 5* at least. But this a complete different area, my condolences for you! I must admit in 3% banners I never ever had terrible luck so far, never hit 5% pityrate yet.

    The Legendary Banner ended with a 13.5% rate aka nothing. It is the first time in almost two years that I am feeling the ugly depths of a gacha. But hey, rather having bad luck in game and good luck in everything else than the opposite. 😉

    Assuming from the title this run includes no grinding (regular battles), right? The difficulty spike from normal to hard seems to be huge since I never really have had struggle in my run in first run in normal yet. The enemies act more aggressively in hard mode. In normal mode they often do not attack even if they could.

    Switch SNES N64 Wii (Brawl and FE10 are the only games why I still have mine) Wii U (did not buy because of the lack on appealing games to me) Cannot judge about NES and GameCube because never owned.

    Yeah, I noticed that this game is rather expensive. For the moment it is off for ~10 € / $, so definitely the ultimate chance to grab for all people who are interested in this.

    I made some good deals with Steam's summer seal. Tales of Berseria was one of them. I played the game already (even 100%), but it was the PS3 version in JP, so finally time to enjoy this game in a language I understand. However I have to work on the resolution. The movement speed on the map and in battles leaves to be desired so far. It is slow as hell. However I should be impressed already that a Tales of game runs on my laptop. For now it will be mainly a side game. Focusing on the Trails in the Sky games first.

    Personally I would recommend to try getting the money together for buying the draco shield and secret book in the base of 3-3 and 3-5 (at least draco shield) and the special weapon in 3-4. Status items are rare, so nice. The GM's do not swim in money in the beginning, but they hardly need weapons / refines aside of range swords. One of them (storm sword) could be stolen in 3-2. In 3-3 it can be stolen too, but this one requires to be disarmed (-> disarm skill) .

    In Steam's summer sale the price of Sky trilogy and Cold Steel duology is off from 25 to 50%. Used the opportunity and grabbed Sky Third and Tokyo Xanadu Ex.

    Sounds like Berlin area. Tomorrow 35 °C and then it will be cooler from day to day. Will reserve a nice place on a lake tomorrow morning. Anyways I think I am the only one in the forum who cannot stand ice cream and ice cold drinks. If I drink them, my throat will be hurt. Even in the hottest days I drink moderately tempered, even warm soda water.

    Doing chapter 5 of SC right now, and I guess the game really "begins" now. So far it feels like playing Cold Steel 2 since SC gives more freedom in discovering areas. As for Ouroboros I still cannot really make an opinion of them because I have not really understood the intention of anyone yet.

    I let my wisdoom teeth removed past year and it was not half as bad as people told. The operation was fast and painless, only the pain after that was a bit awkward. After two days it stopped. That was the day when I stopped being scared of the dentist.

    Tbf it is still far FAR away of being tropical. It is also no comparison to most part of the US in the summer months where tropical nights are standard. However spending life where the warmth is damming is nasty in the warm months.
