  1. @ Natalie I never had a psychical unstable cat I guess. Nevertheless nice to see that you treat them well. Sometimes you just to have to kick their ass if the behave like jerks. @ Rezzy The true definiton of cat eyes. @ Phazon Wow, she has big eyes for her size. @ Rex Glacies Nah, she looks alright. I have one who looks a lot fatter than her. Also that mustache. ^^ @ Ercdouken Heh, I remember on your cat and this image. Still loving it. A big hugs from me to them. I forgot to introduced my cat in my OP. It's Olivier, named after the character in the Legend of Heroes game series a couple of day ago. He likes clothes, especially shoes. He always tries to lay next to my shoes. There was a time where he was petted at home but I kicked him out when he shitted on my bed. I'll never ever forget this event... Also here's an other cat Roy, named after the FE6 protagonist, is obsessed with me. Whenever I leave the front door, he'll chase me just to get huggled. As much as I love him, he goes on my nerves sometimes because I have other things to do than to care of him. Whenever he feels ignored, he will protest by meowing loudly and walking around my legs. He really needs a family who's able to care of him for 24h.
  2. Today is International Cat Day. In celebration of this day I started this thread to honour our beloved kitties. Use this thread and share stories and / or photos of your kitties or any kitties of your friends or relatives.
  3. Well yes, they're not an original member of Greil's Mercenaries and few of them can switch sides. However mentioned units have a comparable availibility in their group so it's a fair competition I guess. @Shoblongoo You're not the only one. (tbf Takumi hasn't been existed here) Funnily enough I don't think Shinon is better than Rolf overall. Sure he's better in the beginning but Rolf will outclass him in strength very soon. Both are tied the best archers in FE for me.
  4. In this thread I let you vote who represents the better unit of one class: The Dawn Brigade (DB) or Greil's Mercenaries (GM). I count everyone as GM who is playable in 3-2 at the latest so Brom, Haar and Nephenee are in as well.
  5. Hard mode Edward is underrated for me. He's a great PP unit and the only one besides Jill (with transfers) who can constantly double and ORKO things. It just requires to give him as many levels as possible in the early chapters because he has some problems in the beginning if he levels neither strength nor speed. He should get two levels in the prologue already. I normally manage it now to promote him in the base of 1-8 which is not hard at all tbh. With making correct use of bexp. he will have more strength and about equal defense as Zihark when he has reached the same level. Nolan can be easier screwed than Edward in HM because of his lower base speed and the lower exp. gain in the beginning. I'm even honest enough to myself to say Edward > Nolan in part 1. When Nolan's support level is high enough he'll become an amazing dodgetank in part 3. I'd say Leonardo's overall perfomance is underrated. At least in part 3 because he's your only real range weapon user. Lughnasadh makes him useful if he has at least 15 speed to double tigers. Overall Leonardo > Aran in HM.
  6. Physical unless it's a game I can only get digital like Shin Megami Tensei IV or it's much cheaper than a physical copy.
  7. Wow, this was great. Too bad the lyrics are bit too quiet. 8.5 Tales of Vesperia - Chance for a Big Reversal
  8. Ike can easily fulfill the conditions to take two hits. Reaching level 18 at this point which is his average level where his strength is capped is not impossible either. Of course I was talking about a nihil Ike. It's also possible but much harder to have an Ike at this point who has 55+ HP (usually requires angelic robe) and maxed defense to take one regular and one luna hit by BK. However it's correct that it's harder to have a prepared Mist than a prepared Ike for this battle because she normally can't take two physical hits without angelic robe. If Ike has 85 hitrate against BK, he has ~20% chance to hit all ten times. Tbf it's less than I expected.
  9. Ike doesn't need one single Aether if he has maxed strength. He will kill BK in the very last enemy phase. However it requires that he hits all ten times and a hit isn't guaranteed (80s hitrate). Mist must tank the spear halberdier and kill the reinforcement bishop with physic.
  10. #5: Fiona Fiona shares Meg's problem. She joins late with low level. But unlike Meg her bases are pretty bad. Her strength stat is lower than her level which is really terrible. She needs an energy drop and forged lance to do slightly damage to the enemy. But the worst of her is her base speed. In HM she'll get doubled by each enemy with physical weapons. Only magic users can't ORKO her. Even in NM most enemies double her. Furthermore you can't really benefit from her strength that she's a mounted unit because all the chapters in part 1 she can be brought are indoor chapters which give her -2 movement. In 1-8 she's even busted. Awful preconditions to get trained. However if you can manage to train her somehow, she has the potential to become a great unit, even the best silver / gold knight due to her caps. Furthermore she has earth affinity. Pair her with Nolan, Volug or Zihark to make her become a dodgetank combined with great power. Overall Fiona needs more effort than Meg but at the end it's more paid off because of Fiona's better growths and caps. Female silver knights have the required speed (unlike males) to double the auras with whitepool. If you can train her, she'll become really good but it's not that other units can't become as great as her with by far less investment. Fiona suffers from her joining time and bases. It's really a shame because she could be a great unit technically.
  11. Favorite historical building(s) in Europe? I've only read Anne Frank's and it was great.
  12. Sure, the damage is higher for axes and lances when they have weapon advantage. On the other hand axe users tend to have less skill than Rutger, Dieck etc. Combined with the -5% accuracy for having weapon triangle advantage you'll have easily 10% or more hitrate nerf. Also halberd's and hammer's accuracy are absolutely garbage in this game. Hero Dieck is like the only one who might have >70% hitrate with weapon advantage. As for lances they have only advantage against the classes with highest evasion and the weapon type with the highest hitrate. I have to admit the horseslayer with its 75% hitrate is really good though. This brings me up the question why it has +20% more hitrate than the halberd... Honestly weapon triangle is irrevelant for most part of the game. It only matters if you fight an opponent who has an accurate effective weapon like armorslayer or horseslayer.
  13. Honestly FE5 was a misterpiece in having ideas. It was a brave move to introduce tons of new mechanics to make it complete different to its formers. At the end some ideas worked, some not as much. I love capturing, it's my favorite mechanic in FE of all time, and it works for me how it does. Fatigue is a neat idea but it should work differently. Lots of lower leveled units tend to be screwed. It should be based on the total experience of an unit. Higher leveled units should become fatigued faster to force the player to use lower leveled characters to make everyone needed. I like the way how status affecting staves work with their 100% success if the user's magic > opponent's. It gives the possibility of staff chains like in chapter 24 where you need barrier first to have enough magic to berserk or silence the opponent. Ch. 24x's warptiles were just stupid. That heal staves can miss doesn't make sense in this game. In any other game where status affecting staves can miss, it'd make sense (despite I don't like it). The scrolls fix weaknesses of everyone but it kills the point of having individual classes due to the generic caps. It makes no sense that generals can become as fast as swordmasters and falcon knights as strong as warriors. Each single class should have its own caps. The new mission types route, defend and escape bring variety in FE you haven't see before. I also prefer FE5's way of escape chapters. Overall although the creators went a bit too far with a few ideas, I still appreciate their try to of introducing a total new gameplay style. Lots of mechanics like the mission objectives and even fatigue (despite nerfed in Echoes) returned in later parts.
  14. Giving axes, lances and bows the same accuracy as in other parts, allowing Roy to promote earlier and giving late joining units like Sophia higher bases to survive are the main needed improvements. The main issue FE6 has is that lots of classes are disqualified due to the OPness of swords. Physical range weapons excluding bows have almost no practical use aside of earlygame maybe.
  15. Nah, when I saw there wasn't posted in for almost two days I was a bit worried tbh.

  17. Even if it's a remake of a game for a former generation console (PS, PS2) I'd still be looking forward to. Also I'd recommend to play Zestiria before Berseria because all the people who played Berseria first might get disappointed by Zestiria's gameplay and overworld. Although Berseria is the prequel it doesn't matter which game you play first for plotreason.
  18. It's an alright country theme 6.5 Kirby's Dreamland 2 - Coo's Theme

  22. Hehe, I'm a bit relieved that I'm not the only one who got confused by this abbreviation. Anyways yeah, SC = second chapter which means second game because each chapter is an own game.
