I don't want this topic to spiral too badly, so I'll just say a couple cents and leave it at that. This changes nothing for me, assuming he has the role. I believe in innocent until proven guilty above all else, and I prefer not to take hearsay as gospel. To me, it's a dangerous precedent to take someone's words on the internet for granted without hard evidence. So, that's all I have to say on that before moving on. Until such a time, this is just "ho hum" for me.

Above all else, I'm considerably intrigued to see how the game handles this. This is, to me knowledge, the first time Fire Emblem has ever had support chains end before A outside of Pent from Blazing Blade (and that was only because he's already married). One of the major complaints from Awakening/Fates was how the everyonexeveryone system resulted in a lot of forced supports. Based on what we're seeing, not all chains are forced into A-rank, which intrigues me into how those relationships will be handled. And to be frank, if Byleth does have all the paired endings, then this wouldn't even be a first as Roy did the same.

Yeah who knows when or if anyone else will confirm. I do expect at least a few more by the time the game comes though. One way or another though, we should know Male Byleth's VA by tomorrow night thanks to Heroes datamine.

From what's been said so far, A-ranks are unlimited.

Pretty sure Gold Points can only be obtained once per copy.

From what I heard, the arrows seem to simply indicate it takes more than one conversation to reach that particular rank, not an indication of anything further beyond.

Actually, Flayn has a support with Manuela. Obviously not a student but still.

Here's the thing. That only happened when we didn't have S-supports at the time. A-rank basically functioned in the GBA era the same as S-ranks do now, with characters only getting access to one per playthrough. And it seems that characters are not limited to one A-rank in this game, which makes paired endings unlikely outside of Byleth.

Feels like a good amount of supports. I'm glad they didn't try to force all the characters to support everyone As for the S-ranks, eh doesn't really matter to me. I'll get a better idea on it as I play through the game. Paired A-ranks are unlikely, as the guy from GameXplain apparently said that students were free to get as many A-ranks as they were allowed to. The lack of getting cut off at one A-rank likely means no paired endings for pairings outside of Byleth.

If I had to bet money, I think he'll be one of the Red focuses.

I'm glad they didn't wait long to confirm Male Byleth's skills. So many people kept on freaking out he was going to get "Kaze-d" and be an awful free unit. But he seems to be exactly as I thought he would be. Same sword and attack skill, but different ABC skills. Pretty good ones too. Can't go wrong with DC and a Chill skill. A wave skill is just the cherry on top.

Also looks like, similar to the Black Knight in Radiant Dawn, he's got his own class.

I would imagine their Crests would have something as well. I mean, I'd imagine they had to take into account playthroughs where the player doesn't recruit anyone from other Houses. In such a case, Black Eagles would face a rough time given how many of the 10 Elites are from the other countries. I would be surprised if those who have the crests of the 4 Saints didn't get anything.

Oh that I'm not surprised at all. It's more the other students I'm thinking of, since we're still missing a good handful of them. Assuming Billy Kametz, Xanthe Huynh, and Kayli Mills are really voicing the characters we speculate they're doing, I'd have thought they would have talked by now given how outspoken they are. Edit: Oh, and we know Catherine's VA. Laura Post confirmed it.

Hmm, wonder if we're nearing the end of the Twitter confirmations. If so, I'd be surprised. I figured more would talk, especially some of the speculated VA's if they're really who we think they are.

Pretty much everyone is aware of the highly speculated VA's like her, Janice Kawaye, and others. We're waiting on OFFICIAL confirmation though.

Yeah, kind of figured. Only thing that explains why her GHB is so far away compared to when the banner drops. Speaking of Meet the Heroes, it's slightly funny to me that in that they do still refer to Sword of the Creator as it is in Three Houses as opposed to its shortened Heroes name. Kind of curious, but when they list associated characters at the bottom of these hero pages, aren't they usually characters that are in Heroes or will be soon?

Just to give a little bit of outside FE work, Hirooka was also the character designer for Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia and Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology.

Wouldn't have a clue about No.2, but I highly doubt multiple S-ranks are possible. They've never done such a thing in the history of supports and I don't see them starting now. Heck, that would make support endings a real pain if they had to account for Byleth having two partners.
