So, for obvious reasons, both Edelgard and Hubert's post-timeskip Paralogues are exclusive to her route. Makes me wonder about Petra and Bernadetta's post-timeskip Paralogue though, given it's a fight against Church soldiers. Anyone gotten that one outside of Edelgard's route?

Hmm, then I'm guessing Edelgard's route doesn't get that.

It's inevitable that the shine will fade after a while. However, I think this game will still endure as a favorite for many once it's all said and done. At the very least, many fan concerns from Fates were addressed, and the game is relatively without controversy (no worrying about skinship or Soleil or localization or whatever). For me, I'm feeling pretty certain that even once the high fades, this will be a Top 3 Fire Emblem for me. I think it might beat Path of Radiance as my 2nd favorite. Will it beat Sacred Stones? Time will tell.

Perfect. Thank you. I'm not against Dorothea, but there are other characters I want to focus support on once I get to BL. :) Is Ferdinand/Lysithea a really late one or route exclusive? I have both characters and have not seen it. I'm probably nearing the end of Edelgard's route.

The only thing you get from Dorothea is a goddess ring? You saying I might be able to get Luin without the ring on the BL route since I'll obviously already have Ingrid? I don't really care about the ring. I just want to make sure I get the Relic above all else.

Wait so you miss out on some Relics if you don't have both recruited? Well darn. Guess I'll have to actually recruit Dorothea for my upcoming BL run. That's going to make things a little more difficult. What's Thyrsus from?

One thing that also helps is that they brought the mid-chapter narration back, which meant we didn't have to listen to stuff like Frederick or Azura constantly having to start every chapter explaining where they were now.

I know this topic is mostly about the students, but since it's about recruitment, I'm curious about something.

Story and dialogue is excellent so far.

Makes me wonder what the rest of Intelligent Systems has been up to all this time. Gotta say, I have a newfound respect for the Warriors writers. Dynasty Warriors gets a lot of flack for it's hammy story, but this game really shows off what they can really do.

Gotta say, I had to do a double take when looking at the boss of the Linhardt and Leonie paralogue to get Bernadetta's bow. Like, holy cow!

I'm going to guess that Pre-timeskip Paralogues only require one member. Playing through Black Eagles, I got Rumored Nupitals, which had Dorothea and Ingrid. Naturally I had Dorothea, but I did nothing with Ingrid. No supports or recruitment. I didn't get Death Toll, as I didn't do anything with Raphael or Ignatz. Post-timeskip I imagine would need both characters since all the students aren't around.

I'd like to know this as well. I'm in the post-timeskip (Black Eagle route) and I really want to make sure I don't miss out on special weapons, Bernadetta's especially.

I'm glad to at least see one person make that reference. That role made me a fan of him. 😄

He probably will. If Nintendo doesn't want Chris in Heroes, then I doubt they'll want him associated with their shiny new release. And yeah, it's best to separate art from artist. Even with all the things against Vic, I still enjoy listening to Edward Elric.

Byleth is silent in Three Houses though, probably doesn't have all that much more than Heroes.

Yeah suffice to say it's a deep rabbit role and it's best to move on. And as for moving on, I like the new voice. Been a fan of Zach since hearing him as Koichi in JJBA: Diamond is Unbreakable.

As someone else implied, if his termination was more about NDA, then it's deserved. Now if it's cutting him over the allegations with his ex, then yeah it's not a good reason.

They said they might, but they want to make it more Fire Emblem in terms of characters and interactions and such, to which they said they're not sure of how to implement.

Welp, suffice to say Nintendo acted a lot faster than anyone figured. Zach Aguilar is the new voice of Male Byleth in Heroes. Who knows if it might happen in Three Houses too.

Highly doubt the rest of IS would be working on a sequel when the first was still being made. A new Advance Wars is about as likely as a new Golden Sun (as is close to never). Probably either Paper Mario or maybe another Fire Emblem remake as the above poster suggested.

Gotta say, I love the varirty in this voice cast. A lot of actors making their Fire Emblem debut as a whole, and quite a few others making their first appearance outside of Heroes. Plus, very little double casting as far as important characters go. Very nice.
