I really don't like how Sonic is known only for 06 and that everything else has to suffer for its existence.
Heck, 06 isn't that bad. Compared to crap like Big Rigs, at least it's okay. It's just gotten so infamous that nobody wants to hear nice things about it.

Chrom's supposed to be a combo of Marth and Ike, Frederick is an attempt to make the Seth lightning strike twice, Vaike is a gangster, Ricken is shota, Henry is shota combined with white-haired-pretty-boy, and Lon'qu is a loner. So what kind of audience is Gaius supposed to appeal to? Because I don't think "likes candy" is a gimmick in Japan.

Even with all that in mind, that leaves out one little part I still don't understand.
Why is Gerome wearing the mask in the past, if he only wears it avoid interactions in the future? He even says it limits his view, so he really doesn't have a reason to wear it.

Gerome wears a mask because it makes him look like Char Aznable. I thought that was obvious.
