  1. it's been a while since I last checked this thread, as I have not needed to scan anymore of the manga due to waiting for the translations to catch up to where I've scanned to. (also i have 2 jobs now, so very little free time).

the raws I've scanned are very rough and would need to be cleaned up (not to mention large file size). I think the last volume I scanned in was over 2gig.

If someone else is interested in translating it (I believe the translation has stopped due to real life problems), I can send you a chapter or 2 to work on, and if people like it, I can see if I can free up some time to scan in the rest of the volumes. Thankfully I have finished scanning in all the thick ones, so it's only the thin ones left to do.

Would you be able to send the raws over to someone on Mangafox or Thepiratebay for reading by anyone?

Other than that, sorry, but I can't help.

  2. That's...I'm pretty sure that's the terrain readout.

You've played at least 2 FE games and you don't know about terrain?

At any rate, welcome to Serenesforest. Hope you enjoy your stay, and that you're not here to trollbait.

  3. > i have never heard of this method

    > am i doing it right

    > ive never done strike through

    >my pina colada popsicle dripped on my keyboard while i was typing this

    >????????????????????????????

This is the biggest reason why forums both confuse and arouse me; you never ever know whether the commenter is joking, trolling, or legitimately asking.

  4. Ana, if an argument is brought up regarding Tellius fanservice multiple times to the point of meaninglessness, it usually means it's a good one.

Besides, FE13 already did a check for people interested in Tellius fanservice in the form of Priam and the taguel. As seen by http://www.nintendo.co.jp/fe/kakusei_bk/kekka/index.html, out of a poll of 26 males, Priam placed 13th, behind even Gregor at 11th; while on the same poll, Yarne placed 25th, only in front of Yen'fay, who of course is technically an NPC, while Panne placed 22 in a group of 25. (Interestingly, Frederick placed 14th of the males, with MaMorgan right behind him)

Sales matter, and so do J-fandom consensus.

  5. Because it's easier to reuse formula than it is to create something completely new.

Take anime for instance. They mostly focus on a loud, good-looking male teen blowing up various variety of monsters and/or moustache twirlers in the name of friendship, with little to no deviation. Does that bother anyone? No.

By following the train of "Noble leads a romp through the continent against an evil empire for divine right" gimmick of samurai fables that Star Wars Americanized in every game, the player can follow the actions that happen around it to give humanity to the multiple elements that make it possible to immerse the player in these Excuse Plots.

Look up "Strictly Formula" on TVTropes.
