I was just playing and today is one of my Avatar's birthdays, and I found that it takes precedent over all the other conversations, apparently shoving them back up if it's their birthday. I was pretty surprised.

First I think was a Golden Caterpie that I beat because I thought I was either hallucinating or didn't know how valuable it was or whatever.
Shiny Hoothoot in Soul Silver, and I think in either Emerald/Ruby/Sapphire: Beautifly, Poochyena, Zigzagoon, AND Elektrike. -
(but not Doublade, that thing is just lame and lazy for an evolution)
How is this any worse than Dodrio, Magneton, Dugtrio, or hell, Electrode? Personally, I like Doublade. Dual-wielding ghost swords, c'mon.
Hard to really decide my favorite. I like a lot of 'em, to be honest. Kinda stuck between Tyrantrum and Noivern. A t-rex and a bat wyvern? Yes pls.

What notable Mon do you have?
Protean Froakie, Guts Larvitar, a Calm Feebas(Though with Oblivious, not sure if that's really good, though it does have Dragon Pulse, Mist, Haze, and MIrror Coat. I also have one of the same gender with Swift Swim, so chain-breeding can probably get something good, and I'm willing to pay more than one Pokemon for an Eevee with its hidden ability), Super Luck Absol, Clear Body Beldum, Huge Power Marill, Sheer Force Druddigon, and that's it. Unfortunately, I'm not too in-the-know about what's stellar and what's not. =<

Finally got a timid male with Protean, at least. Took only eight tries compared to the EIGHTEEN it took for a female Charmander.

I must have some crack-tastic luck with breeding Froakie right now. Like, what the heck? I want a male Froakie with Protean and a Timid nature. Well, they all seem to have the nature down, but only the FEMALES have Protean. I WANT A MALE TO CALL FROGFUCIUS.
Does it only share the hidden nature with the same-gendered offspring or something? Seriously, it's baffling me.

I hardly give two figs about IVs(and subsequently personalities), but I'll go for natures and sometimes egg moves. Probably going to be the thing that dooms me, but weh. I do have other games I like to play.

My Camus/Sirius post spoiled someone who didn't know they're the same person because they hadn't gotten that far. Oops.

Speaking of the 3DS XL, how much easier is it to draw on it?
I wager it's probably a lot easier. Once I get mine back from repairs, I should be able to give an example, but I wager, more room means better flexibility in drawing, right?

Question; Can a Pokemon hatched have a hidden ability if its parent does not have the hidden ability itself?

Only after I've reclassed him and maxed him in all other stats. Then yes, because it's funny, and I prefer him as a villager.
Although, no, not really. Reclass him asap.
Shame he doesn't have a lance reclass, though.
