  1. Personally, I really want Stardust Speedway. The Metal Sonic Race felt really unique in that it seemed designed in such a way to always be neck and neck 1. Uphill slopes that lead right into an aerial platform to stop your momentum 2. Spikes or dips in terrain that are placed in areas where you would normally pick up speed. 3. The aerial platforms that provide an advantage, but not so much that the race isn't still close 4. Dr. Robotnik right behind you with a one-hit KO laser regardless of rings Special shoutout to Jedi for his icon tipping me off
  2. That idea sounds awesome! Nohr seemed a lot like Thracia in that it lacked resources. It'd be sweet if they fleshed that out, especially from the perspective of non-royalty
  3. Yeah, I think that explains it pretty clearly.
  4. Sorry if this's as already been said, but how do people feel about Fe15 in Fates world. Fates in my opinion is a fantastic game. As I was playing the game, I noticed it had flaws, but I didn't care because of how much they did well. One notable example is the premise/foundation. It's just the execution of the story could be better (I think people have said this too) So how about Fe15 in the Fates world, but with a fleshed out plot. I know that the major seller of fates was choosing a path and that life is gray, but I still think a lot can be done with what's there. I just have no ideas and want to hear others. Also Fates did have some great plot moments. Chapter 26 Hoshido comes to mind.
  5. I guess the idea is why bring Deirdre out in the first place? Manfroy says to Alvis something like "hopefully Deirdre doesn't find out the truth" Alvis replies (hesitantly?) "N-no we're in love". This leads me to believe that he wanted to test Deirdre's memory of Sigurd, hoping that she wouldn't recognize him (implying that she was never married to Sigurd). When the opposite happens (she recognizes Sigurd faintly), Sigurd tries to jog her memory. Then Alvis (abruptly?) replies "That will be enough" and sends her back into the castle. I think "That will be enough" was Alvis getting nervous at realizing Deirdre really was married to Sigurd. I'm guessing he had trouble coming to terms with it and sent her back inside before it could sink in too far.
  6. Was the reason, Alvis brought Deirdre out in Ch 5 because he was hoping that she would not recognize Sigurd? Then when Deirdre did recognize him, did Alvis send her back inside because he was freaking out at the realization that Sigurd was Deirdre's first husband?
  7. Regarding the argument that enemies can switch weapons making Hoshido slayer weapons less effective, I don't think that's a huge issue. You can just use the slayer weapon that applies to their equipped weapon. The game seems to emphasize Player Phase much more than previous games. At least in my experience, I generally need to take out enemies as soon as they're in range. Using the old strategies of having a strong unit wait in a hoard of enemies to take them out on Enemy Phase hasn't worked as well as it has in previous games - at least in my experience.
  8. Which weapons do you find more useful? Hoshido (Axe Splitter, Pike-Ruin Club, Swordcatcher) Nohr (Wyrm Slayer, Armor Slayer, Beast Killer) I might be missing a few. Personally, I think the Hoshido set is more useful because effective damage versus weapons encompasses anyone using the weapon, whereas the Nohr ones are tied to specific classes. If you have all the Hoshido weapons, you have effective damage versus a majority of the classes both Hoshido and Nohr. On the other hand the Nohr weapons just account for a few Nohr classes.
  9. That's hardcore, like speed run-level detail! Max speed Oswin was probably nearly invincible, especially if he had good resistance
  10. Anyone have any fun stories where they went nuts with the RNG Abuse? Personally, I RNGed Leaf's magic growth of 7% until he capped it on my FE4 cartridge. Basically had to repeatedly reset until I found the right sequence of moves that would proc magic (often involved castle boss healing) Well worth the hours for how awesome he was with tornado and defeating Travant with Leaf;D
  11. It could also be a reference to Lara (Thief/Dancer) from Thracia. From what I remember, their Japanese names are identically spelled in Katakana.
  12. SS Quasi (Super Saiyan Quasimopho) Really wish I could change hair color in End Game to go super saiyan
  13. Korra's tale would be great as well, but I think that it'd be a separate game. I haven't finished Korra, but isn't that series loaded with content?
  14. Wishful thinking that Bamco would make an Avatar game with Tales mechanics. 2 Stories (similar to Tales of Destiny DX Stahn and Lion Side) Aang's Side - Follows Aang's story Characters Aang - All-arounder with Speed emphasis. Gradually gets more options as he learns the elements Sokka - Utility. Items increase in effect when used by Sokka and can create unique tools using science Katara - Zoner. Long-range attacking and healing. Also has close range move that knocks enemies back to continue zoning momentum. Toph - Tank. Uses earth bending to gain super armor (reduced damage and hitstun). Can also surround self with boulders that cause enemy hitstun on impact (like Strider ouroboros and the rock shield in Tales of Zestiria Example Exclusive Content 1. Covers Aang's story 2. Aang/Zuko Sun Warrior Quest 3. Sokka/Toph/Suki Fire Nation Fleet raid. The final dungeon that leads to 4. Aang VS Ozai - Final Battle Zuko's Side - Covers Zuko and Iroh. Harder than Aang's side due to fewer characters Characters Zuko - Mage Knight. Dual Swords and martial artes up close and fire bending long range. Breath of Fire for healing Iroh - All-arounder (more effective than other characters to compensate for smaller party). Martial artes up close and fire bending from far away. Can stun with lighting so Zuko can follow-up with combos (Also for handling swarms of enemies) Example Exclusive Content 1. Zuko's Story - Covers Zuko's adventures, but not Aang's until he joins Aang at the end 2. Zuko bond trips with Sokka and Katara 3. Azula Final Boss with Katara
  15. Cool, thanks. Would you have to write over one of the current color options?
  16. Hi all, The title says most of it. Specifically, is it possible to make Hinoka's hair color selectable for the Avatar.
  17. They may be referring to skills that promoted units get. If you promote earlier, you get the skills "faster" since you're in the promoted class. However, by promoting later, you get more levels as the max level for base classes and promoted classes is 20 each. So if you wait till level 20 to promote, you get all of your level ups. If you promote at 10, you miss the stats from levels 10-20 Does that answer your question?
  18. But Intelligent Systems is really good at programming AI. Things like fe4's enemies acting differently depending on leadership stars as well as avoiding units that are too powerful and fe10 enemies trading items is insanely impressive. From what I've heard, Thracia enemies will even by weapons from the armory if their's is stolen. They're really true to their name.
  19. How come when an enemy fills a spot where a stronger enemy can attack (and possibly defeat your unit), they don't move out of the way for the stronger enemy to attack? Using a Player example, if I have a Mage at range 2 where I can attack a Pegasus Knight, I'd move them out of the way for the Archer to defeat them (if there are no more ways to attack the Pegasus Knight for the Archer) So why doesn't the AI do that?
  20. Yeah, Thracia's seems to be the foundation for the main defense map of a lot of Fire Emblem games. I think fe14s stood out to me because of the ballistas and the map difficulty. The danger zone villages, IMO, are easier to get to in fe14. That is true about the bosses. Does Eda turn out good if you raise her? From experience, I know Dean is nuts with his A in swords and Dragon Lance with Vantage and Brave effect.
  21. Does anyone think that Conquest Ch 10 was inspired by Thracia Ch 14? 1. The layout of the walls look similar 2. There are ballistas that can attack through the wall (though in Thracia you can defeat them early on and Conquest they build momentum throughout 3. IMO (though may be due to how I played it), your completely cornered to the seize line that you have to hold for ~ the 2 last turns 4. IMO comparable difficulty
  22. 1. From doing my first run of both as one giant game, start fe5 after fe4 chapter 5. 2. Then, once you get to fe5 chapter 20, switch back to fe4 and do chapters 6 and 7 (I only did 6). 3. Next, complete fe5. 4. Finally, finish fe4.
  23. Yeah, hopefully someone will create one. Fair concern. It is pretty easy to get overpowered in Fire Emblem when using dlc that is not necessarily meant for early-game or excessive grinding. Though overpowered/too easy and excessive grinding are subjective. That's a good play style. I just meant that a speedrun of that would be really fun to watch (if you ban hitting start).
  24. If you ever do this run again, can you use someone's Corrin with point blank? I think the skill comes out today. P.S. This run is awesome! It'd be a great AGDQ speedrun if the Corrin's were loaded before the run.
  25. By-the-way, question for you Spiegel. Fates spoiler <spoiler> </spoiler>
