    doesn't really work anymore because aerial finishing touch was nerfed to death, even before it wasn't the biggest of issues because you could just hold shield against a cloud and the string wouldn't work.

    It starts off with character for me. Obviously the characters I'm most excited about inclusion I'm going to try first. However as much as I like a specific character, if their moveset doesn't mesh with me well then I have no qualms about looking for someone else. This mindset has given me new appreciation for characters that I either hated or was just "meh" on before like Ganondorf and Fox.

    I liked Kris in terms of gameplay and customization, but I like Corrin more in terms of story integration.

    I'm not sure what I'm more surprised about, the sacred stones representatives, the list isn't plagued with only awakening and fates characters, the fact that Hector or Sigurd didn't make number 1, or that Roy didn't make it on a numbered spot... other than that the list is a resounding "meh".

    First week has been absolutely great, the hype has lived up to the experience for me at least. I'm on Nohr 25 right now and still have yet to see too many issues with the story tbh. Regardless the difficulty has been great and I'm looking forward immensely to checking out Hoshido afterwards.

    A personal favorite of mine ever since melee has been Peach's classic "Ooooh did I win?" line. It's honestly the best taunt in the game and adds the perfect level of insult to injury. If I knew how to actually play Peach, she would be my main off of this line alone.

    I'm going Nohr because even though Hoshido might be your birth family, I've always been a firm believer that family is the people that love you and that you have been raised with which Nohr mostly does. Plus I could never go against Elise.

    I'm both happy and upset that I didn't get into the competitive community until after the stages were mostly banned. Happy because I don't have to deal with dumb things that would cost me the match, but upset that I can't form a real opinion on those stages.

    I'm going to keep to my opinion about Mario, Luigi would work fine too, but as it stands they are both easy to pick up characters that have phenomenal frame data and combo potential. Either of them would compliment Ike well, but Mario more so

    Well I mean, there is melee in combination with Anther's Ladder and netplay, which is pretty good from what I've heard.

    Couldn't agree more really, if you don't like a match up or a character a lot just practice against them more so you know how to fight them rather than hoping for nerfs on them. None of the top tiers are even as close to broken as prepatch diddy or brawl meta knight. The top tiers don't deserve nerfs, the low tiers deserve buffs. why not just make the game brawl minus...

    For the same reason you can't use DK's neutral B in midair without being put into helpless. I just want buffs to the low tiers, all the high and top tiers are fine as they are, despite how much a loathe Luma.

    I'm with knife on this one, I think the stage and the characters should be banned for this tourney to eliminate any and all possibilities of the unknown for both sides. I'd hate to lose because I didn't know X was capable of Y.
