  1. Gimme a sec to wipe the floor with this kid: Name: dieguito Team: TEE HEE And I'll join you. Man this guy sucks...I'll use my new team with Braves. I'll add your code in a few when I'm done. EDIT: Bitch surrendered after 3 turns on the biggest map, lol. Adding you.
  2. Alright. I'm sure we've had our share of bullshit matches. Aside from Hackers and AR freaks, what is 'cheap'? I'm sure we allg et pissed when someone uses a flyer to scout for us and then sends in 2 archers with Longbows, a Ballistician and a Swarm on a Sage to pick us off from afar. That really pisses me off and shows that you really need to stop being a coward, but by the same token, if you get close enough, they're fucked. It has it's ups and downs. Is it 'cheap' to make the 3 Sisters into Snipers and Give them Brave Bows and Longbows? I'm sure you will consider me cheap for the following. I have a team called the Cavalcade. It is made up of Merric/Sage as well as 4 Paladins (hence, the name). I usually have all my characters (on Map #3) if I'm player 1, block the exit of the starting area so none of my opponents units can leave and so I can scout them for stats. Usually, if they're stronger than me or have Braves (Cavalcade uses maxed Killing Edges and no Braves) I can regroup them together and smartly, bring them down one by one. Is that method of blocking 'cheap'? I mean, my upcomming team has 2 Falcoknights, a DracoKnight, a Paladin and a Horseman so I can block all 5 doors and not just 4, and so I can move across the map faster. Each will have Braves so I can do some serious damage on Map 3. Is that 'cheap'? It's annoying when I'm player 2... My new team has my Falcoknight + Boots (Movement 12) scout for enemies while my 2 Heros and 2 Swordmasters pick off anywhere from 2-4 of their units per turn if I can get a goon number in my range. She can also take the castle on each map from anywhere of 1-3 turns. Anyways, discuss. There's alot to bitch about and it's good for debating. It all has its ups and dows. The Sniper team is amazingly good at being not seen but if you get too close you can massacre them.
  3. i PLAY ABOUT 40 MATCHES A DAY SO i'LL ADD MY OWN FINDS AS WELL AS THE OTHERS IN THIS THREAD. Fuckk, Caps lock.. Name: Darkwolf Team: PQR Reason: Maxed Stats/movement/unlimited weapons. Uses Imhullu/MageStone/EarthStone. Units: Gotoh - Sage Radd - Swordmaster Tiki - Dragon ??? - Dracoknight Strategy: I was good enough to take down all of his units with the exception of the immune sage. (I had 3 units left) All I did was have Caeda as a Falcoknight with 56 HP stand on the base with Gradivus. His critical was lower than my luck and his damage would not kill me. Each turn I'd use Gradivus to fully heal myself fully and eventually he disconnected.. I'll start going through the thread tommorow. I tell you, being out of high school is boring... Name: angel Team: SORCERER & SORCERER2 Reason: Invisibility. Imhullu. Maxed Stats/movement/unlimited weapons. Walking through walls. Game always disconnects as soon as you capture the castle. Units: From both teams. Cord - Sorcerer (Imhullu) Lind - Mage (Aura) Lena - Bishop (Thunder) Merric - Sage (Starlight) Gotoh - Sage (Imhullu) Tiki - (DivineStone) I tell you, nintendo better get it's shit together and not realea AR cartridges...Or start tracking down and charging whoever did. Name: Michael Team: Michael Reason: Invisibility. Maxed Stats/movement/Walks through walls. His game glitches and the Hero as well as the Sage cannot atk me. Disconnected after 4 turns. Units: Elice - Bishop (Aura) Abel - Paladin (Brv.L) Frey - Paladin (Gradivus) Caesar - Hero (Hand Axe) ??? - Sage (???) Name: HOTSHOT Team: Heroic Reason: Maxed Stats Units: Minerva - Dracoknight Hautclere Athena - Swordmaster Silver Sword Navarre - Swordmaster Brave Sword Silver Sword Killing Edge WyrmSlayer Starsphere Horace - General Killer Lance Ridersbane Steel Bow Steel Lance Silver Lance Merric - Sage Excalibur Thunder Blizard Mend Name: (clockX3)time(clockX3) Team: D Reason(s): Freeze (Freezes your game whnever you take the castle) Units/Weapons: ??? Name: Ataide Team: Ground Units Reason(s): Maxed Stats Units/Weapons: Donno if it's a hack but oe character has messed up Stats. Merric was a Swordmsater with everything maxed except for Def/Res. I think that's impossible bceause his Str growth is only about 10%. To have Magic at 20 and Str at 24 is bullshit, in my oppinion. Name: <>Lonewolf<> Team: TIKI Reason(s): Max Stats, Durability Units/Weapons: Tiki Divinestone Wyrmslayer Door Key Note: Tiki is his only unit I'm starting to take note of units as well.
  4. Yeah but he looks really gay. That's why I choose Seth over Franz. I have this thing with children in Fire Emblem being stronger than adults. I mean, Rofl is 14 and to 20/20 him makes him better than Shinon who's 27 and taught him to use a bow...Franze looks like a frigging tweenager and yet at lv20 Cavalier has about 5-7 more Hp than a lv1 Seth. I'm all about the growth rates and shit but get fucking real. If you're going to do that, at least give our prepromotes some Growths over or near 100% or extend their cap to lv30.
  5. It is hard to say. This thread has no mention of blue, like Lex who's just a shit-kicker or Geoffery in FE10. It also depends. You can't sort it out by color because somewhere along the line of games the entire Red/Green and Spd/Str combo got totally ass-fucking-backwards. In one game the Red is the Strong one and Green is the faast but in FE8, it is obvious that Kyle as significantly less Speed than Forde, who has significantly less Strength.
  6. I'm gonna take a guess and say that Frey wouldn't be in Book 2 because he supposedly died as the decoy. I'm going to guess that's why he isn't there in any of the H modes. Evidence to support this is that in norse mythology Frey was the first God to fall during the Twilight of the Gods. So when they were picking a name for him, I'm guessing that's where they got it.
  7. I'm bored out of my mind and am currently testing my new teams, now that I have Braves to my advantage. If, however, you do not have Braves, then I do have a team without them. Feel free to ask me for a match Anytime. My friend code is in the topic thread of that same name. I'm just too lazy to go and post it here.
  8. Jaigen is laughable and the achetypes are indeed useless. A Lv20 Jaigen get's skull-fucked by a Lv1 Seth any day. There's only so much you can do before it's repetitive. For example, Radd is a low-lv Myrm with short hair and does not ahve a Killer weapon. Does that mean he's not an 'archtype'? I mean, shit. Even the Final Fantasy series has it's own. Each game has their own similarities. I mean, Guy, Joshua, Zihark, Navarre, Rutger all come with Killer Swords. But really, to make it a pain in the ass, what else can you really give them? FE9 did detach from some archetypes. For example, Rolf was...something to behold...in comparison to previous archers. If they wanted to change shit, they could give us a long-haired horse rider early in-game (unlike Arran in FE:SD who joins late and still sucks). I think, to make FE more interesting, they should start you off with a Draco Knight or a Wyvern Lord instead of a Paladin. I mean, it's bad enough that every game has your enemy being the continent where the Wyverns are from. Even in Fe10 the bastards move back to Begnion, ffs. It's getting pretty boring having the same shit over again but hey, as a fan of the series, I'm still gonna buy this shit.
  9. The FEPlanet chart has his Speed listed as 10% in your Hunter->General link. His Spd as a Hunter is 25. EDIT: FEPlanet has his Spped as Hunter listed at 10%, and not the 25 that's on the SF growth-rate list. If that is 25% true than maybe he should be a bit higher.
  10. This is gonna sound kinda weird but would anyone mind if I made alist of these people who cheated intstead of having it scattered around a thread? I'm bored out of my mind and really don't mind typing. EDIT: Not to be confused with hte list on the first page but to actually make a list and Add the names of hackers because the list on Pg1 is in no way whole.
  11. I understand how they work and just edited my post. You can see it as it is marked with EDIT: in bold. The thing is, I never used them much in this game because up to about H3, they're virtually useless because the defence isn't needed. I only really ever used Drag b/c his Speed could get up to anywhere from 7-14 by the time was lv20. My only issue with him is that his Str was shit, which made him useless as a meatshield because he wouldn't kill the thing that was hitting him for more. I had to place a healer behind him to heal him which stopped an archer or any other ranged unit from being behing him for support so msot of my knight, who followed the same general path that Draug did basically became a liability.
  12. I undersand. I was just trying to point out that if you reclass him at lv 20 from Hunter to Knight, then reclass him as General he'll get a 10hp and 4spd boots thanks to the promotion. Not that it really matters since the reclass after the promotion from Hunter-> Horseman will be pretty much the same. Also, in terms of tiers, if the character has virtually no speed and even has 0% in speed reclassed as a Knight/General, the why the hell are we trying to mvoe him up? He's clearly going to get doubled and quaded when braves show up. In my opinion, having C lv Axes when he stats means if you use him, keep him as an Axe user so he'll reach LvA Axes before anyone else and get the much needed weapon triangle bonus. Even at C he still gets a 5% accuracy bonus. At B it's 10 and A is 15 and God Damn, he needs it. Like I said, to if you're going to use him, get him a Killer Axe from the Online shop and let him rape shit. Other than that, he should, reclassed, stay as he is. The only plus side to making him a hunter is that in Normal, he actually survives the arena as a Hunter. I mean, we'd all love to make him a merc but in H5 can he really survive that that pitiful ammount of Hp? Ife ha came with a little more, likie Barst does, I'd gladly support you in raising him in the list. Second, I'd agree with Hunter -> Hero. They get +1 to Str and +4 to both Spd and Skl with no negatives on the reclass which is very, very sexy.. That's pretty much what most people do to Wolf and Sedgar anyway because leveling them is just...a real bitch in H5. The only issue with that is that if you decide to 20/20 him, or even promote him at Lv10, you're going to lose the Bow WExp and his weapon stats will be...decent at best. That's why I'd prefer it if you actually thought about keeping him a Fighter/Pirate so he can actually have the ability to use a broadder array of Axes early in-game. I mean, shit, if you're going to argue anything, I'd argue getting Radd moved up on the list. He may come late but so does Caesar (who's name is spelled wrong on the list, by the way) and he's Up-Mid while Radd is Low. There's only a 2 lv difference. Have Radd go in for the kill on a few horsemen on that level and He'll make it up there fast. Failing that, there are a good number of priests who Exp is wasted on other character that could be used on him. Radd's defence and defence growth is significalty higher than other Myrmidons and he makes an awesome Paladin or D.Kn on a reclass. Sure, you can bitch that he's got a low weapon level upon getting him. I do. The solution to that is use him. God knows you need all the damage you can get. For those fucking Horseman have Radd atk them, even though he'll only do about 2-5 damage. Sure, his accuracy sucks but it does as a Swdmstr too. Myrmidon->D.Knight (Radd) Save you the time: Radd (Average/Possible Max) HP---48.6 /60 Str---23.7 /26 Mag--1.0 /20 Skl---17.3 /26 Spd--21.8 /23 Lck---16.2 /30 Def---20.5 /30 Res---3.0 /21 I'd also argue that Paola (Palla?) should be about as high as Catria. Sure, her Speed and Luck suck ass, but up reclass and changed into a Paladin or D.Kn, her defence Growth is 30% and is kick-ass. Failing that, you get about what...5 Speedwings in total (3 from S.Shop) so that's about 10 Spd right there if you don't mind using them. I'm not saying to waste them but shit. The sisters are the two most useful characters in the game. Est seems to be named after a direction on a compass and is weak and therefore was adopted and does not deserve the title of Pegasus Sister. Peg.Kn-> Paladin (Palla) Luck is shit and the Speed could be better but the Defence is better than most (Avf Def: 19). I'd like to see the other Cavaliers->Paladins come close to that. The only one who does is Matthis, who's other stats are absolutely horrible (save for HP and DEF), but the early join gives you time to build him, despite those flaws. He does make a fair D.Kn, though but only slightly. Cain's avg Def: 15 Abel's avg Def: 15 Matthis' avg Def: 19 Vyland's avg Def: 13 Roshea's avg Def: 15 Hardin's avg Def: 15 EDIT: Just took a look at Bord's Speed Growth and for some reason, the growth rate sheets I printed from this website (SF) has his Speed as Knight/General listed at 0%, whereas it is in actuality 10%. Sorry if that confusion have caused problems. A minor error.
  13. Man, just because I play differently, doesn't mean I'm an idiot. I beat it my own way. You're just not open minded. Considering Bord's speed is garbage and his growth in speed as General is 0 (though he does receive a boost of 4 pts in speed if he goes from Knight-> General, I'dd say Bord should stay low. Bord comes with C level axes which is useful around the start if you get him a Killer from the online shop. Since speed does matter, and as Colonel said avoid/accuracy is important when the usual avoid is about 10, Bord shouldn't even be used since he'll get doubled early in-game as well as more later when barves show up. He may get some good defence and Health Stats but is leveling him with a 0% chance of speed going up really worth it? And thanks to Luck's effect in terms of avoid being halved in this game, he's pretty much useless. Now, Cord going Hunter -> General I can see, since he has the speed needed to survive. He may not have all of the Luck but as previously stated, it doesn't play that big of a rule until you're trying to dodge a Swdmstr.
  14. Name: Mike Team: Elite Spotted By: Capracanis Reason: Maxed stats and movement range. Uses Marth and 4 Swdmstrs. EDIT: Added: Name: POKEMONBOY Team: FGQ Spotted By: Capracanis Reason: Maxed Stats/movement/Fog Of War not affecting him. Uses Tiki, Rikard, Marth, Beck and Gotoh. No weapons are forged. Rikard does not have to be directly next to you to attack, only in sight. Game Freezes everytime his Theif tries to get within 1 block of me. Player, really, really sucks.
  15. Of course they can. I gave him the speed thing as wel as the fact that leveling Boah would be a bitch, but his staves are higher and if you expect Wendell's staves to be C or B by the time you meet Boah, then where's he levelling off of? If he's a healer or the main healer, he'll only be about level...what...5-ish? In which case Boah at lv1 isn't really that far behind. Boah also has better skill, and accuracy fucking matters in H5. I've fonud I kmiss a hell of alot more at 90%+ in H5 than any other mode.
  16. Just went over the list. i think Boah should be higher than Wendell. Reclassed as a Sage, boah is bettter and reclass Wendell as a Bishop and boah is still better. the only noticeable difference is in the speed groowth-rate in favor of Wendell, who I've found to be faster..
  17. I only use him in H5 to smash someone with a silver Lance for some damage and then go in for the kill but if there's more than 1 enemy it becomes a liability to keep him alive. He's pretty mcuh useless once you're able to forge weapons.
  18. Not my fault Jagen has shitty growths. Maybe he should be more like Wolf and maybe then I'd feel more sympathy for losing him. I mean, if I lose Seth in SS I cry myself to sleep at night but you don't see me blink an eye if Jagen eats it. Besides, in the other games it was acutally possible to make a useful character. Even Seth could be as strong as most toher units despite being a pre-promote. In this game, a lv10 1st tier class is better than a lv20 Jagen. (i.e. Darros Lv10...anything...is probably better if not at least as strong as Jagen, and that's fucking Darros.) In SS, lv1Seth was only slightly weaker than let's say a lv20Franz Cav because usually Franz would have a bit more HP and speed by that level. I mean, I understand that FE:Shadow Dragon/Sword of Light was the first, and all but the least they could ahve done was updated the growths to accomodate people who've a desire to actually have fun. The only thing that I like about this game is the Online play and updated graphics; as far as I'm concerned, even FE6 was better than this.
  19. Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War: Lex (Like there's anyone else to like...) Fire Emblem: Sealed Sword: Clarine, Wade, Lott, Geese, Hugh & Niime (Got a few good laughs) Fire Emblem: Blazing Blade: Hector, Matthew, Lloyd (Yeah, I said Lloyd...Stfu) Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones: Joshua, Seth (Greatest prepromote ever. Loved his ending with Eirika.), Cormag (awesomeness), Valter (BEST. VILLAIN. EVER), Innes (Finally, an asshole) Fire Emblem: Path Of Radiance: Volke, Bastian (Shakespeare on crack), Haar (He's Johnny Depp with an eye-patch) Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn: Haar Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon:..They all suck..but if you're making me pick...Xane. His power's a real mental-fuck for his companions and pissed off the divine dragon. The problem with Shadow Dragon is the lack of conversation, unlike previous games where you can bust a fucking rib thanks to the thieves. FE8 had not only some great music but the storyline and conversations in-battle were epic. EDIT: Forgot about Cormag and Valter
  20. Marth in SD just lved to lv25 and the only thing that went up was his resistance. That's pretty uncommon.
  21. Yeah, but people like myself have mental issues with letting them die. I mean, shit, I feel like garbage if I let any of my Pokemon faint.
  22. I think mine was Dorcas in the final part of Lyn's story in Blazing Sword. Granted, he didn't really 'die'. Failing that I'd have to say Guy, because I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize that Matthew could recruit him so I killed him. That's what you get for skipping the dialogue. EDIT: Ross is actually on one of my best multiplayer teams thanks to his supports.
  23. Honestly, the endings don't matter. You'll find out when you beat the game that what you really want are the events of the story, which took me a few playthroughs to unluck. In other words, to replay all the scenarios, you'll have a sacrifice a different character each time you start up a normal game. And considering you won't even use half of the characters in-game, after you beat it once and know the ending, you'll probably jsut use a few of the useless noes as meatshields anyway. I was the same way as you but I realized that this game, in comparison to the tohers, really, really SUCKS. It's one of the few games that the characters have virtually no RES stat what-so-ever; a real piss-off. Even Sigurd has RES for Christ's sake!
  24. Lol. I have an account there already. Matter of fact, I think my username's the same. Not to mention I've printed out everything on the FE:SD page from growth rates to supports and shit. EDIT: Actually, I think I built my sig on that site.
  25. You think Reclassing Caesar as a Fighter when you get him (considering you cannot do it until the next Ch) is smart, though? His Axe lv will be what, D at best? If it was higher, I'd say yeah and give him a Killer or a Pole Axe. I mean if you still have the Devil Axe from Ch3 there's still a risk to that. The up side from being a merc is his speed. Reclass him and he loses a bit. Unlesss you level him a bit off the enemies in Port Warren (enemy Horsemen come to mind as his accuracy is great) then I wouldn't sue him.
